Seems like the goalie model for the body and the part of the model that is actually "physical", is smaller than the jersey. Is that the old jersey? I don't keep up with Vancouver's jerseys. Either way it's just bad clipping. The only thing it went through was the jersey.
Goalie is fine.
Right. And the puck going right through the middle of the goalie's stick in the next clip posted is because the actual "stick" is smaller than the stick, right?
No that clip is legit screwed and prolly a bug. The first one just looks like the jersey doesn't move with the puck or react to it.
the first clip being a "legit" goal is a huge stretch but it's possible that shot could have led to a goal... but not the way it happened. it went straight through his body and out the back side, as stated it should have likely changed path towards the arm or at least towards the goal post. either that or the goalie is like 100lb soaking wet yet wearing pads made for ben bishop. Even then the new "realistic" jerseys should have knocked down that shot.
second clip is just horrible but par for the course. almost every club game i play now is same boring **** from almost every team. take away the middle cheese shots then they just stay wide and throw weak shots at the goalie that he has no idea how to handle and lead to horrible goals. i'm convinced that the CPU goalie AI is broken and that the slower the puck is moving (or the more visibility the goalie has to see the shot) the less chance they have to even recognize that it is there.
This is the first year this was a problem. Previously it was so easy to defend against the high probability(glitch) shooting areas and better teams that dominated the ice and played real hockey usually still dominated. thanks to garbage like these two clips you play a perfect game, dominate the ice (think like 12min TOA compared to 3min) create dozens of high quality scoring chances only to squeek out a win like 4-3
The first goal not legit, it doesn't go through his body you can see it deflect, second clip is just bad stuff. That's what i meant by legit screwed.
watch it again the first clip deflects off the shoulderpads but it defects downwards, through the jersey and through the body and through his right but cheek and pads and out his back side straight into the net. seems after the initial collision the goalie because transparent.
Puck went through the 6 hole (or 7 hole. Can't remember) and it's just horrible rendering that gives a bad impression. This was actually a "new" feature introduced in 15 and I think it is the first time I actually see one on replay.
It was different but through the goalies nonetheless. Oh, it was an OT goal for a lost too.
Puck goes right through his solid pads, with his stick going all the way through his own body on top of it. I had Roy do this exact same play. Brilliant coding.

LOL that was different.

Yeah it was pretty funny. no idea how the goalie was able to do that!
