I think they should get rid of the auto one timer. Having more control means less of the game doing it for you.
I would be ok with this as long as one timers were buffed to give you a little leeway towards the timing or at least some leeway on hitting passes that are a little bit off.
If you tried hitting a manual one-timer you know how hard it is, your connection also plays a big part in hitting them.
My defenseman regularly whiffs on half slappers and wide open looks, especially the one timers. If there's one thing that worked very well in 16 it was quarterbacking a cycle and getting off great shots off one timers from the point.
I play a lot of defense in 17 and I know a few things that helped me not whiff so much is if you're going to take a slap shot, try to skate as straight as possible for a second before shooting, if you're slightly turning or skating backwards or to the side try to have as little of a wind up as possible because these are the times you will whiff most often.
While in your zone behind the net trying to wrap it around the boards, give yourself at least two feet space between the boards and your stick, and like I said before, try to skate a straight line so that when you wind up and the puck becomes lose, it doesn't drift to the side.

It's very hard, it's funny cause i didn't know it existed and i thought players who did it were just amazing, that was a long time ago then i realized wait there's a button for it what? I don't think it should get a buff though it should be more difficult as it's one of the most rewarding plays in the game, I'm not saying a nerf but if you connect it should be because you have skill at it.
Love how a well placed eh bud gets people riled up but no one seems to care about all the whine and hate driveled on here daily. Video game ragers/haters are a funny bunch, eh buds'?

Like I said earlier though, one-timers depend a lot on your connection, I only meant a buff to them if they make manual mandatory. They definitely don't need a buff as they are now.
I haven't been on yet, is there now an option to select different tuner versions
or has this not been fixed?
Yes, we put out the new tuner as 1.01 so that people that have sliders tweaked offline that they feel are dialed in can keep their tuner at 1.00 if they prefer.
So I've had a chance to put some serious gaming in over the weekend, goalie has definitely improved, and although most d men on drop ins is still **** it almost feels like AI d men have improved and will actually poke the puck now.
Player controlled goalies still give up ridiculous rebounds but feel a little better than before.
I played about 10 games saturday night with my club and only seen a few ridiculous tips, so that is much better as well.
Overall no complaints, they tweaked it just enough.

Yeah I agree, I only meant a small buff, nothing too serious, just so if you hit it a little early you dont whiff on it.
