Old collectibles?

I am wondering if there is, or will their be any use of the HUT Hero Collectibles, or the Face-off (non trade-able ) cards?

Replies

  • quicksell them all, youll get a free 88+ card in your inbox :)
  • really?
  • Don't do this.

If you look through the sets menu there's a way to trade in the collectibles for the chance of a player. Either sell them on the AH or convert them into sets.

    Do not quicksell.

    now now, play nice
  • I didn't think so. I have traded in collectibles for 88 overall players in the past. These collectibles are the Hut Heroes, and the Non trade-able collectibles that you got when you completed a Face-Off set. I think they are called "master collectibles". You trade them all in to get the big **** card for that Set.
  • Hut Hero Collectible doesn't have a set yet. I can't wait to see how they will be utilized...

I really hope it isn't an all or nothing set.
  • in all likelihood the set that they eventually put out for HUT Hero Collectibles will require like 15 Hut Hero Collectibles and 45 Carbons. the cost of the trade in Sets is just too high. I miss the "get coins for completing a set" . It made the game more interesting. Collect a team, get a bonus, then you could use the players, or sell them off

There should be no reason to need 30 hut hero cards in one set. I just hope there isn't a need for more carbon's. Enough had to be grinded to do the hero initially...

But what card could possibly be worth that much?
  • Hopefully they also stop with the 90+ players that really shouldn't be over 85, in those sets.
a 90+ Cooke? why not give us more legends? Gretzky, Messier, Howe, Lemieux, Yzerman, Orr, Forsberg, Hasek etc.
  • 5 Hut Hero's for a 99 John Scott please!
  • didn't we got that last year, for simply playing against the Team of the week?
  • It would be a stretch to say that the NHL team thought this through and actually had a plan from the start.. it will be an even further stretch to think that they would actually tell people (within the confines of the game) to keep them for a future promo.
  • Also, the sets are lame.. they are designed for the rich to get richer and are out of reach of the average player. It's because EA is surrounded by a zombie horde of their streamers and Twitter followers and have no clue when it comes to the experience of the casual player.
  • LOL.. sorry, do not quicksell... it was a joke (I couldn't help myself) :(
  • I'm sure they look on here even if it is just a little bit. They see the plight of the casual gamer that isn't going to spend 500+ dollars on card packs. They are just making too much money off of these sets. Why would you stop if you owned a business and you made something where people throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at you?
