Playoff Logic
What's the logic behind allowing people to choose what playoff bracket they play in? Why aren't you slotted into a bracket based on your current division?
As somebody who just started fooling around with HUT around Christmas I've gone through two playoff runs ( first one I was still in Div 9, this month I was in Div 5 ) and have played nothing but Div 1/2 players with stacked teams. I've managed to hold my own with my still relatively crappy team but winning four in a row against those odds is asking a bit much. Add in the fact that you really need to win five or six in a row with all the desync-reliant players out there and it's frustrating.
Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge people their stacked team ( it is "ultimate team" after all ) and I fully expect that people in higher divisions that play more often will be more skilled than casual players. But regular season play has had pretty good matchmaking for me so far ( similar player skill/team level ) where as the playoffs seem completely broken.
Meh, probably just salty after losing game four ( actually game six due to a couple of desyncs ) yet again.
And no, I don't think buying another pack is the answer....

I could not agree more with all of this. You are not allowed to move up a bracket until you move up in Divisions but once you do you can go back and play in the rookie bracket. Just silly. Once you hit a certain division the rookie/amateur tournaments should be off limits.
