It's too bad that Carter always gets the shaft in the upgrade department. His base is a great card, he would be fantastic with a couple boosts.
I actually avoided buying packs all day through the lightning round hoopla. I figured I would treat myself to one of these 3k coin packs. In that pack I pulled a 93 AS Weber, 90 AS Kucherov, TOTW Greiss, Legend Gilmour, base R. Johansen, Barrie, Okposo and Vlasic. Pretty good pack, was hard not buy another but I was sure it would have been straight quicksell if I had. Love the 2B synergies on the 93 AS Weber, wish they were on the MOV.
I looked for a post about this , couldn't find it. Anyway i was just curious to see who spent roughly $36 CAN dollars on this pack. I have to say it was tempting but I resisted
I have my PayPal attached to my account and just sold some stuff on eBay so it was kinda like free money...figured I would celebrate with a pack. Turned out favourably.

I didn't see any sort of indication there would be that type of promo until the first notification popped up on twitter (after it was under way).
