Goalies are so bad now?

What's with goalies lately? I played 6 games tonight and after limiting my opponent to 3 goals or less in my last 25 games, my goalies blow and have a save percentage of like 700.

But, the thing is my opponents goalies have been just as bad. I don't find games that are 7-6, 6-5 to be fun.

Has anyone noticed that goalies have gotten worse? Maybe I'm delusional.

You just have to find the right one that fits your style of play.

My goalie is playing just as well as ever, and haven't noticed opponents goalies being easier to score against.

As you said, this problem is probably just in your head

I use TOTW Rinne, and he has has a steady 890% since i bought him.

I have been using base Quick lately and he has been disastrous. Any shot from the high slot is pretty much a guaranteed goal. Even with div 1 players taking shots with legends it shouldn't be that automatic. I have never had that many goals of that type scored against me in any of my previous seasons in that division. I was handily relegated to div 2.

Personally I don't believe anything has changed in the game though. I just belive that the best players continue to get better cards and more synergies, and continue perfect juuuuust how to shoot to score at will even when the goalie isn't screened.

For the first time in year I`m actually kind of staisfied with two of my goalies, despite I have some none working goalies well

My Hero Kolzig has a 90,8% safe percentage with more than 100 games. He started very bad and after 20 games a I had a 87,5% safe percentage. I was almost done with him. However, with some player and synergie changes he started to be amazing and his safe percentage increased with every single game.

My second best goalie is SS Bryzgalow. He was strong from the beginning and has a safe percentage around 90,5% since I have him.

Unfortunately my MOV Bobrovsky ist not working so well and after more than 70 games he has a 87,7% safe percentage. I still keep and use him because he his still a candidate for TOTY but when I have to play an important game I always switch to Hero Kolzig.

In all the years before my best goalies never reached a better safe percentage than 89,5%, therefore I really enjoy to have two goalies with 90,x numbers.

I think everyone needs to try several goalies and give them some time to florish, with a little luck you`re able to find the right one for your system.

I've had mov Jones and he was lights out for those 25 games and now he just hit a brick wall.

Mov Bobrovsky has been horrendous for me as well.

I was just really cheesed last night after Jones had been so good for so long.

Base Quick is probably the worst goalie in the game.

I haven't found a single good goalie in this stupid game. I've played against awesome goalies and thought that "Hey, that's who I should get!". Then I've bought the goalie and they all play like vacuums. And if the goalie for some reason doesn't ****, defencemen do. For example: I was trying to chase this dude in my zone and he flicks a poor pass near the net and my defender bats it in the goal himself. Goalie ofc vacuumed it in because he never suspected a betrayal.

PLayers statistics in HUT broken. Work not corrected. Sad ((( Markstrom play 5 games and have 26 wins and 21 loss. MArkstrom later again 5 games , 7 wins , 2 loss. All Nashville players play many games and later statistics erase (( This kill my wish to play in HUT

No problems last night, Found everything nice and tight, Minus the regular backhand to forehand shot or reverse, But that is my fault for letting them do it, I had one of the best fun games I've ever had in competitive seasons 1>0 in the second overtime, Even if I would have lost, it was one of the best game I've ever played, Hope it keeps up.

Tuner 1.02 Update (Feb. 8th, 2017)
*We are overwriting the 1.02 tuner with revisions to the goalie tuning to better reflect our original goals after community feedback and further testing.

- Increased top end of goalies precision speed
- Increased goalies ability to make saves in tight to their body even more
- Decreased screen effect some more
- Delay tuning on reactionary saves is now less harsh and more forgiving for being slightly out of position compared to the previous tuner.
