Games where the winning team takes less shots than the losing team happen in the NHL too. Your team took 31 shots and scored once. Take better shots.

31 shots is pretty crazy for only 6:30 toa. Sounds like a turd fest to me, where they pick and chose their shots.

Actually... Wouldn't it be the other way around? 4 shots, 2 goals in 4 minutes and a half? Sounds like these guys were cherry picking their shots hard core.

I can sort of agree with this, but at the same time when have you ever seen an NHL game where a team took 31 shots and lost to a team that took only 4 shots on net?

The real problem here is that players tend to give up mentally when they face an opponent with an AI goalie or Defenseman. How many times have I heard players say "Oh great, now we have to face the Bot Goalie/D-man" with defeat in their voice... These are the same players, mind you, that will complain that the AI defender and/or goalie is absolute trash when they play on their team.

So which is it? Is the AI OP? Or is the AI useless? Here's my take on it: the AI is useless on both ends on the ice, on either team. The only thing that makes them "better" is your own lack of conviction. If the AI is dumb on your team, it is 100% dumb on the other team as well. If the other team can figure out how to beat the bots on YOUR team, you should also be able to figure out how to beat the bots on the opponent's team.

Both of their goals were weak wrist shots from the point, my teams shots were high slot, cross crease etc, mostly high quality shots.

My clubs goalie quit playing, got tired of the garbage that comes with playing goalie in this game

No. I have seen many times where the AI was horrible on one team and beast mode on the other team. Makes me wonder if it is connection related. Applies to goalies as well.

Yeah it's not super often but it's often enough. Might be connection related. I know there's games where defense literally will move out of the way to give a breakaway and the other where they step up at the line every single time with deadly accuracy.
