Cant see why I should waste my money on plus for NHL 18

Does not make sence to spend $70 a year to play something so laggy and broken. Publishers should pay the bill if we are being charged $90 plus a game.
Not like EA dos anything. Not like the game was ever worth $90 plus. Port the game on to PC and I will buy for sure.

Couldn't agree more.
$70 divided by 1500 is less than .05 cents a game.
1500 games, 30 mins per game equals 750 hours which is less than .10 cents an hour.
That's how I justify paying each year for this crap! Now I just have to justify WHY I play so much of it?
Pac Man was a quarter a pull and had Pac-tilt!
Well Played Sir!!
I USED TO play that much ('08-'13). My best friend and I would play Best of 7 Series. Tue, Fri and Sat were our game nights (when Pens were playing, we'd listen on radio as we played). We had so much fun, so many great battles (but then again, all we played for was Fun, a little bragging rights until we started the next Series...lol). He got deployed (US Air Force) in '13 so I started playing more OVP and got into GMC. GMC is when I started to notice all the garbage that went on during Online games (Win at ALL COST attitudes, hate msgs when I won), then you add all the garbage that was wrong with the game itself (poor collision detection, lag, losing connection to EA despite still being connected to XBL/Internet, and so on and so on and so on and so on). I haven't touched NHL since late Feb and as of March 21st, I no longer have XBL (NHL is the only reason why I kept renewing XBL). Such a shame.
I hear you.
I was a loyal customer to them since '93/'94, but this "losing streak" came to an end this year.
Releasing a **** product for the full price while running a more or less inept customer support and not taking care of the most glaring issues that are present in the game for years and on top of that NOT paying enough attention to the people who have voiced their concerns for a long time on this or other forums are the straw that broke the camels back for me.
I don't wont to read a long-winding explanation by some EA scape goat as to WHY something is broken - I'd like the dev to FIX the problem/s.
I will be still intrigued to buy the next installment, but before I do that I'd like to read on this forum here that solid objects are not flying through solid objects anymore.
THIS - for me - is the FOUNDATION of a virtual hockey game, yet EA is still incapable of getting a correct collision detection implemented - and every year the same issue persists. Incompetence or ignorance?
