Unopened packs disappeared

I've played NHL since its inception and understand no game is perfect but I was wondering if anyone had this happen as well. I pre ordered the super deluxe edition on the Xbox marketplace and it said that you recieve 10 bonus packs for doing so. I had them in my unopened packs and I logged in one day and they were gone. I contacted EA support and they said "packs don't just disappear" I never had this happen ever and I rarely ever contact EA support, so I'm hoping that they read this and investigate this problem. I also haven't recieved any weekly pre order packs since the release of the game.

  • Did you delete your team? You should open packs as soon as you get them now. You need to read the fine print on those deals too because packs disappear if you don't open them this year. Just so you know.

    No, I didn't delete my team. I didn't see the fine print, how long before they disappear? That should be in big print period.
  • I clicked 'open later' for each pack and didnt lose any of mine. It's inexcusable that we have to figure things out through trial and error.

    I agree, if they would advertise packs expire in bolder or bigger letters instead of fine prints I wouldn't have made this topic. Live and learn.

    Well I guess you can say EA is balanced in packs available. Packs are not lost or gained simply transferred lol.

  • I had the same thing happen except I never received the 10 packs from my digital purchase. It took 4 phone calls and emailing proof of the purchase before I finally got a guy that spoke English. I told him I am going to the better business bureau for false advertising if we can't resolve it. He ended up giving me 15 gold plus packs. I pulled letang, Suter, Pacioretty and Nash plus many others so don't give up. Just gotta get the right person
  • This game is **** trash... Gameplay sucks, players actually dip their stick blades in the popcorn butter before they step onto the ice, incase you were wondering why NHL quality players are incapable of holding onto the puck.

    Nothing says "we could give two **** about our paying customers" like packs that have a time limit to open. And on top of that there isnt a visible timer on that specific pack. Its pretty discouraging to a returning customer of 15+ years. Most disappointing NHL year by a long shot.

    I feel ya, especially being a very loyal returning player. Having been through a lot since NHL was created. You bring up a very great point on having a timer on your packs, it's the little things to that matter.
  • It says you need to claim them within a week. EA doesn't say what they mean by 'claim' though. I just got my newest bonus pack and none of my other unopened ones disappeared so maybe it's as simple as clicking Open Later like I said that I did.

    I did do that. I tried phone and chat and they said "packs don't just dissapear." And there is nothing we can do. And I can't prove they disappeared unless I photo stamped every pack but who does that lol.

    Yes, thank you, I went through EA support and they didn't even didn't explain it to me, let alone share a link that would help me understand. How many gold plus packs (20 item pack) have you recieved? I only have 2 unopened since release. I am wondering about this code mentioned in the link. Only recieved an EA access code and nothing else.
