If you were like me and took advantage of EA Access to gain early access to NHL 17. You are being billed on a monthly basis automatically. Unless you have use for EA Access you have to cancel the subscription. Of course you have to jump through hoops to cancel the subscription, unlike when you sign up and one button and done.

  • Did you pay for it originally or use a free code?

  • I paid for the right to play it before the release date. EA Access is a recurring monthly charge. If you don't cancel, they keep charging your debit/credit card every month.

Sorry, but I fail to understand this post when we know it is a MONTHLY subscription.
  • The term "Monthly" and "Recurring" is two different things.
  • It is important to check you subscription list in case you might have agreed to a service in the past and didn't know there was an automatic renewal. A couple months ago I was charged for a PS4 app that I was completely unaware of. I noticed the charge on my cc statement and was able to refute it but who knows if I've been paying for it since day one.

So a monthly subscription shouldn't be a recurring charge? You really expect them to start tracking invoices and warn people their month is almost up? Or that it will auto cancel after 30 days if you don't pay?

You do realize it is $5 a month, right?

Read the terms and services before subscribing.
  • Dude, what is your problem? I'm not out to pick a fight. If you want to argue semantics do it with someone else.

Agreed, I'm just throwing it out there for those who may not be aware.
