Player ratings in club and drop in games

Playing in club my rating was 50 then it started over at 1. Does this make our player better? I'm confused on how are players get better. Is there a way to add points or anything to our players? I'm very confused about this and thanks

Players don't get better, they used to years ago, but last year the dev team moved to preset classes, the little ranking beside your name means nothing. It just shows you when you can unlock more cosmetic customizations.

If you don't like a player you just try another class, its all you can do.

Its more of a badge of honor to show how much of a life you do or dont have.

If you work hard you can unlock stuff that used to be readily available pre-gen.
