People need Human goalies to play....... Both LD and RD as human. If you really must play 6 vs 6 then we need the timer removed. It will take 20 mins + to get all 6
If it's two AI goalies then all is good.
Make some friends and it won't take 20 mins to get a game.
Randoms see a whole team of us P3 50 badges and then chicken and back out.
I've had mine since November and have over 50 friends with it. Thats why people think we're scrub hunting but it's not our problem.

Here's the problem if I play with NA then it lags , Europe is mostly Finnish and Russians , I was in a team of Finnish they kicked me out of there team because I asked them to go to the dressing room.
LMAO.
I have like 300 friends on my list 200 of them have NHL. Allmost all of them play HUT only.
People must be idiots then leaving just because you're level 50.... Not all level 50 are even good. I have found playing D = faster 6 v 6 games.
Just goes to show those dumb badges do more harm than good. They are pointless for others to see and give 0 indication of skill or hockey IQ although there are people out who believe just the opposite. How many people have left just because they see a badge with a 1 or 2 on it? lol You know you have. I'm no saint, I have also, especially if they pick G.
All badges are is an excuse for some people to run away instead of just playing the game. Everyone is so afraid to lose and they don't even realize that at the end of the day they aren't going to receive anything at all for how they play be it good or bad, win or lose. You never know until you play and even if you do lose it isn't the end of the world.
Badges should only be visible to you, period. Drop in is supposed to be random and a filler until you can play club. There's zero point to take drop in or OTP seriously in the least.

True that.... A level 12 joins as C and the whole team leaves.
I agree with ****, mhandymanb seems to be a ultra scrub hunter. He's taking it to the next level and hunting in drop in's and not doing the backing out and re-searching in club game's even.
I bet you get more time playing with AI this way since in club people rarely leave but against your "drop in club" I bet users leave all the time.
I get it if you play drop in with 1 friend or borderline 2 friends but 3-5 friends? Come on man then your hunting!
Wrong.
I play with at least 100 different people and we're always interchanging who plays with who and what not. We're just all friends that prefer to play together as we have the past couple of years. Because there are so many of us that's why we don't often play club because we all have our own and don't always want to be switching clubs. Club sometimes takes way too long to even get a game because not as many play it as in previous years.
We also don't care who we play against in drop ins and often match up against players that are doing the same as us, even against friends. So we're definitely not scrub hunting. We just want full 6's as playing with AI players suck!
Plus playing with friends ensures we fill all of the positions on our team, we have players that play their position properly and are familiar with each other. Futhermore, we all use mics to communicate on ice which a lot of randoms in drop ins don't use.
If randoms have a problem with that then they can make their own community of friends and do the same.
It's just quicker and easier to go into a drop in with 5 friends to play a game and if we have friends online then we're obviously going to prefer to play with each other instead of randoms.
Lol I don't understand why ppl are blasting you so much... I agree with everything you're saying. They made draft lobbies such a tedious **** thing to do. Even in OTP you can't say fill a room with 8 friends and then make it public to fill the spots. Lobbies were perfect before, EA removes them.. Logic !
As for the friends side of things, how can anyone argue this ? Playing drop ins with randoms is pure frustrating garbage. Everyone quits, plays terribly out of position, trolls etc. The best games come from playing with a group of friends and finding another group in drop in. No one plays club so it can take hours to find a club game so drop ins are just faster.

His answer is use mic's.... Hardly anyone speaks English... Swedish/ Finnish / Russian .... Its rare that anyone from USA/CAN are even in the game.

It's a NA based game and I expect most people to speak English. It's also 2017 and I don't know why so many don't use mics? I mean, why wouldn't you want the added advantage of being able to communicate with your teammates? Especially the Center should always be on a mic. It makes a huge difference if you know where and if he is going to win a faceoff.
That's the benefit of playing with friends. We ALL use mics and know each other so we can tell each other exactly what our intentions on ice are. That's a huge advantage!
Once again blame EA for taking away our 12 player private games. We don't want to play randoms and with our 12 player private games we were always (regardless of the time of day and year) we were always able to get good fun competitive games. We had our own community of friends/players and EA obviously didn't like that.
Regardless of the excuse EA makes, they didn't like that we had our own community and lessened the amount of players randoms had in drop ins.

Confirmed:
We have scrub hunters. Repeat, we have scrub hunters.
You're all a bunch of wussies if you think that is scrub hunting. Yeah, I really want to play with random strangers that suck and don't communicate with mics.
Isn't EA's slogan for 17 "Play as a team, win as a team?"

I'm only playin around, but let's call it what it is: basically a club vs randoms which is a scrubfest.
The reality is, they never should have ditched the old lobby system.
EASHL new gen hasn't been executed as I expected or hoped.

Well it seems the only people complaining are the randoms and scrubs. Once again it's not our problem they don't have friends to play with. It's like the three forwards that drop in together or individually and it takes longer for them to find a full game compared to friends that have friends that play D and G. Make some friends that play D and G then.

Well I primarily don't care about the EU players because I primarily only play with NA East timezone players and friends. It's rare that I even play with a player from the West. The farthest West friend I have is in Colorado.
So I don't care if EU players have mics or not. I only care if NA players do. A lot of times if I drop in individually, if my potential teammates (locked side/team) don't have mics I'll back out and find another lobby (side/team) that does.
If you drop in with a group, you usually get put in a lobby with the other team who also has players playing together. So it's not always a situation where a team of 4-5-6's is going against a 6's team of randoms.

People are blasting him because drop in is designed for randoms to play each other. One thing is clear you don't know how to spell....... PEOPLE.
Yes you're right be a useful I used a short form term for people. I can't spell.. Moron.
LOL NA based game it mite be but they're still thousands of European players online.... EU isn't matched up with NA , unless they're invited by a EU player. I'm telling you they all have mic's they speak Finnish and Russian .
Well it seems the only people complaining are the randoms and scrubs. Once again it's not our problem they don't have friends to play with. It's like the three forwards that drop in together or individually and it takes longer for them to find a full game compared to friends that have friends that play D and G. Make some friends that play D and G then.
It's obvious EA doesn't know what's best.
