Do something about the trolls and fix the easy stuff. There is still TIME before game is released.

1. If someone leaves an EASHL game, ban them from joining any other game until that game they quit is done. Offer them a chance to reconnect back to that same game (same player) but that's it. This could also be useful for unwanted disconnects.

2. Remove the 3v3 crap. It just dilutes the already tiny player base. At night (past 12 PST) its almost impossible to find a 6v6 because everyone is playing 3v3 because of how hard it is to find a 6v6. It's a vicious loop that needs to be squashed.

3. Bring back what EVERYONE wants: 12 person DRAFT lobbies so that we can play a 6v6 to the end without any quitters. EVERYONE WANTS THIS BACK.

4. The auto-kick for trolls is still ****. I had a friend play goalie in a 3-2 game (late 3rd period) we were losing, and he got kicked out of nowhere for "bad play". Yet I see troll goalies run around trying to start fights, playing pucks they shouldn't be, just generally being idiots, and they are allowed to stick around and ruin the game by allowing 10 goals. FIX THIS, There's absolutely no way this should be around for a 2nd year. Why introduce and keep something when it's so broken???

5. Add some new falling animations. I'm sick of the same exact 3 diving looking animations.

6. Allow me to skate by the goalie and tap him on the pads after a good save.

EA people are getting more and more pissed, esp since the beta came out. Please don't kill this series with ineptitude and address the things that people actually want addressed.

3v3 is a welcomed edition, this game hasn't been fun since NHL 12.

TPS has been the death of this game, been downhill ever since.

NHL 10/11/12 all we played was 6's, it was great back then. NHL 13 people started to leave this community and game because of TPS and removal of classic vision control that worked so well.

    TPS = death to 6's, not 3v3.
3v3 will make this game playable with more open ice navigating your 500 lbs. skater out of control on the ice due to TPS.
  • The trolling and griefing needs to be addressed big time. One person should not be allowed to to ruin the game for 11 others. There needs to be stiff auto kicks with very little tolerance for bad behaviour. A vote kick system would be welcome as well. Even though this could be abused at times, It is still better to give the power to everybody than to let one **** ruin the game for everybody.

Vote to kick would cause everyone to kick goalies though after they fall behind. That is the #1 concern that should come to mind.

To prevent this, goalies should only be able to get kicked after giving up 5 goals. That way when a goalie gets off to a very slow start (or gets bent over by the game) and goes 2 shots 2 goals, they can still get out of the slump and play to their standard.

Also, if a game is competitive and lots of back and forth scoring, the team wont be so quick to boot the goalie...hopefully.

As for skaters, the issue becomes if there are an odd number of players on a team. There could be a tie for kick vote. Then what happens?

If there is a tie in votes, then the player stays.

Goalies would not be so vulnerable because it would require both teams to get on board for a vote kick. Pretty much everyone prefers a human goalie over AI, but neither team wants to put up with a goalie trolling because it is not fun. We want to punish the ****, but not the people that are trying and having a bad game.
  • Vote to kick and remove all pauses. Not sure why you need to mess about pausing at the start of each drop in game. Takes long enough to start. ( because you all leave) if its 6v5 or anything but 6v6.
  • Remove the cutscenes of fans and all replays except Goals from Drop Ins (keep them in EASHL).

If I come online and my EASHL team is in the 1st period, I'd like to be able to have a quick Drop In and catch them for the next game. As it is now, the Drop In takes longer.

    So quit lol...It's a drop-in buddy.

That is exactly what I'd do now.

Simple suggestion to reduce the drop in quit-rate ever so slightly.

Drop Ins really should be a persistent 12 person lobby. When someone quits, someone new can join in at any point in the game (next whistle? next period?). When the game ends, shuffle the teams up, and go again. But Rammer.

I agree with the points in the first post. Removing lobbies killed the drop in community. I met so many cool people who I still have on my friends list from playing late night pick up games in the lobbies. Everyone had to know someone to get in and if you were a punk you didnt play again.
Auto kick will never work it is duct tape on a leak. What needs to be added is a vote to kick system. I know this will require programming which requires time and money so it's pretty safe to say we will never see this. It's sad that all of these reasonable requests are ignored. If Ea had a community poll every year listing the top 5 issues and then fixed the highest voted one every year that may satisfy most people and stop the anger and frustration from the community. Just 1 issue a year! Is that so much to ask? least acknowledge some of these issues and maybe the community will not be so.hostile
