Players using lag spiking exploits to win in HUT

This is a huge problem and it is rampant. I have tons of evidence to prove, without any doubt, that many players are cheating and exploiting this game. I've already experienced a player who IP booted me after I got a goal to beat a tied game (3 - 3). Suddenly, the game just froze for about 40 seconds, then lost connection. I went to look at my stats, and it shows that he won by 3 - 0 and I lost the game. He was also cheating using a lag spiking button throughout the game. I have videos, screenshots and evidence of many.plauers doing this. I would estimate that 17 out of every 20 players that I go against in HUT are using some sort of exploits. It is rampant and blatant. Yet, EA refuses to fix it or acknowledge it.

  • I can prove everything I am saying and you can watch me play live. My.screen name here is the same as it is on the PS4 network. Add me.
  • I’ve had experience where players pause the game and somehow this effects the lag effect during the game, never heard of a lag spiking button. Where can I get one?
  • It falls on deaf ears guys,

But seeing that we have your attention Mr. or Mrs. Customer, would you like to purchase some HUT packs with your hard earned $ and receive useless Base Cards?

I saved a bunch of gold collectables and traded some in for TOTY packs. My highest pull was a base Pekka Rinne and a bunch of gold consumables. Everytime I purchase packs, I get screwed. Nothing but level 83 and lower picks.

As far as the lag exploits. Add me as a friend on the PS4 and I will live stream and show you. In fact, there are already a few videos on my channel showing these cheaters. It sucks, because I have to waste a timeout in order to show it in real-time.

We can get changes made, but we have to show proof, evidence and continue to make our voices heard by the dev team at EA. For instance. When you get I.P. Booted, that means someone has gotten your static I.P. and possibly the MAC address of your PS4 and is able to DDoS you. That is dangerous and an exploit that should be patched through the PS4 O.S. or with a patch that will block known ports.

So far, EA reps on the phone and through email have been useless.

  • Sorry. I haven't used my IMGUR account in a while. I had to change some pics. Hope you can see them. If EA was willing to pay me, I would gladly spend 8-10'hpurs a day hunting cheaters and exposing them with undeniable evidence.

HIRE ME EA!!!!! We can curtail this before a proper fox is employed.

This is most likely my final year with this Franchise.

    Define:
1.) Repeated Glitch Goals when your 99 overall Goalie looks and reacts like a Special Needs Case.
    2.) True performance Skating lmao

You’re not the only one, i’m experiencing the same thing, it’s prolly a lag switch. I was trying to help people in hut sub reddit but there’s a bunch of idiots there who just think it’s my connection lol that’s exactly what lag switchers or whatever devices or tools they’re using wants us to believe. Cheaters everywhere dude, it was fine maybe 1 or 2 times a month but right now it’s 3,4,5 times a week. Btw it’s 100% sure it’s not my connection, i have 120mbs.

No, I don’t think so. I agree with everything he mentioned in his posts. Every one of these scenarios happened to me as well. These people for whatever reason are desperate for free packs and a false believe of being good.
It’s a game which most of us play to relax and enjoy, once you play people like that it’s no longer enjoyable. Since NHL 13 edition it’s been getting worse and worse. You mean to tell me after so many complaints EA has no clue? That’s straight nonsense. They know it’s there, they hear you and see your posts they just will not do anything because it might hurt their bottom line. It’s all about $$. As long as their investors are happy then it’s all good.
Trust me it will not be fixed.

    I bleed hockey!!!!!!!!!!
  • I honestly believe things are going to be different moving forward. I believe ea knows a lot of the flaws and are working to fix. With the lag issues I don’t see how all can be stopped. There’s so many different controllers and ways to do it it’s almost impossible to completely stop it. Only tome will tell.
  • I hope your right Swoops but I do not share your optimism .
Pretty sure I‘m done with this trainwreck.

that game was running perfectly (granted i was only able to stomach watching the first), the only thing anybody was doing wrong is position locking as a goalie, one of the scrubiest thing you can do in the game. Enjoy not playing the game.

  • You should have watched in.between periods. There was nothing scrubby about position locking. It helps me be able to catch the cheaters. There is a method to it. What's worse, position locking in arguably the hardest position to play, or cheating like a total coward?
  • If someone used a lag switch it would have spiked higher than 60. It would have gone 100+.

Agree with that on a true lag switch but some controllers minimaize the lag just enough these days. Like I’ve mentioned before a titan controller would show less than a switch. Still believe you just want more people to join you’re community.
  • I am board with you. Whenever I lose and it's questionable I check the network performance and I always have spikes when I get scored on.

I watched the first intermission, saw were you claimed there was lag switch/cheating. There was none, stopped watching. Yeah, postion locking is totally scrubby, especially when you have 99 overall players on your team. You wanna play tendy, do it in eashl. How does it help you catch players? You only check during intermissions? Since other players arent cheating as you claim they are, what your doing is waaaaay worse. Like i said enjoy glg'ing and not playing lol
  • thats not a lag switch...
