Classic equipment, wearing white jerseys at home and dark on the road again

I think it would be a neat idea to add old gear. The old ccm helmets and cooper helmets, winwell. We already have jofa in the game. And a bunch get eliminated. How about bringing a bunch back in. Addition to what is in the game in today's generation. As well as the old pads and goalie styles as an option from like the 90s or something.
In my opinion the 90s game was exciting. The goalies were acrobatic and not agile. And also in the settings menu, how about making the option of wearing white at home and the colored jerseys on the road again.
And the classic equipment doesn't just stop at helmets, again goalie pads, sticks, gloves and skates. The old CCM helmets, the first ones that everyone wore along with the winwell and jofa were all iconic.

I actually really like this idea of bringing in 90s or early 2000s gear and sticks. It would be pretty cool to see some of that stuff again.

Exactly. I've notice for years that equipment is always being taken out. Imagine with the new generation of consoles what that old gear would look like? Skates, gloves, sticks, helmets, goalie pads you name it.

It's only an idea. The classic players will be in I'm sure. And with the classic looks they'll look even better.

I wish they'd put classic or all-time teams in. Like the 1954 and 2002 Red Wings, the 1991 Penguins, the 1985 Oilers, or the 1960's-1970's Canadiens teams or something.

Is anyone sick of white away/dark at home? Instead of the hassle of doing it manually, how about a preset for white at home and dark away?

I agree. They have 200+ legends but the majority of them don't have their actual helmets like the old CCM helmet that's probably the most used helmet ever in the NHL, used from the 70's until just a few years ago. That helmet needs to be in. It's just to iconic to be left out. It was included in old gen but removed for current.

The goalies classic gear available I think is decent already but could be better. The old 70's masks for example would be nice to have back. For some reason they were removed for current gen.

To create a team mode they could add a vintage arena template with maybe a different lighting that feels old school and perhaps no ads on the boards, and please make the vintage scoreboard black again, like I believe it was in NHL 17. Now for some reason it's grey which makes no sense whatsoever and doesn't look good at all.

There's a lot of potential since the creation modes are very good already, it's just the little things that makes all the difference that are lacking sometimes.

I would like to hear your opinions on the white jerseys Home dark away part of the topic. Having it as a preset in the options menus for the nhl teams. It's less of a hassle than doing it manually.

In real life it should have never happened. I go to games and it would be nice to see different colors for the away team.

It would be cool to have some old fashioned gear in the game like the old school goalie helmets. Only thing I don’t want is have to get it through hockey bags. If this happens. I want to unlock it through playing, not through hockey bags.

That sounds like a HUT thing. No this is in the whole thing. Not just HUT. Wouldn't be locked or unlocked shouldn't have to be.
