Mate if Sony makes a hockey game Xbox WILL NEVER see a release XD they're already withholding MLB the Show from us.
but that's is why this is such a big issue. Hockey is not just a sport, its a lifestyle. and your essentially touting a feature that'll let us create our Dream Teams without shelling money in HUT and they just never release it.
Theres no transparency at EA, there is no road map for development... Or the few games that do have a roadmap are used as a marketing strategy.
It is sad they cant answer us on this matter. The least they can do..

No communication, false promotional material, lack of updates. I have no clue how an "age issue" has screwed up the legends in offline modes and it's been 3 months and still no word.
We're already 25% done with this game's life cycle, why is it so hard to get an update on this. Just be honest.
It's been over two months now since the release and I'm still not able to add legends to their respective teams at least in season mode. Why advertise this as a huge new feature when legends were already part of HUT? I was thinking that I can finally put Selänne to Jets/Ducks or Lemieux to Penguins as your text and commercials showed!

Did I miss something here? I was fine with NHL 18. Now I've kinda purchased the newer version for nothing. Is there going to be a fix or do I have to just ditch the game and the money I used on it?
How can this be tolerated? How can you advertise on commericials legends wearing their team jerseys and Wayne hoisting the cup and assume that players won't think like "Oh wow! Wayne hoisting a cup as an Oiler? Teemu shooting his glove as a Jet? That would be so cool!" That's what I thought - not something like that it's just part of pumping HUT which I don't play because it doesn't remind hockey at all. Just arcade crap.
But you can play with them in play now on those awesome made up all star teams in a generic arena!!
Yeah it's ridiculous. What's the fun playing with legends if you can't have them on proper NHL teams? Good thing you're posting about this. The more people who do the more noise we're making and hopefully EA won't ignore us for much longer.
Why EA won't give any answers to this? It would be the joke of the century if they introduced this "fix" as a new feature in NHL 20. I mean two months is a long time considering the game is old by summer.
How cool would it be if they only added a roster sharing feature so people in the community could create tons of old players or rookies not in the game (ex: Jack Hughes) for us to download and put them where ever we want and use them in franchise/season mode. This feature should be in the game by now. But it's ea what can you expect.

This would be awesome! I'm a huge fan of MLB The Show mainly for this exact reason.
