Same, left the legends feedback. At this point, there's been no update and I feel completely manipulated by this EA team with its blatant false advertising.
It's pretty sad that at this point there is no hope for a response on this issue. Honestly, I would be less upset if they just said "Yeah, not happening".
An issue that I found is that you cannot apply a number to a player that the team have retired their number. For example, I created Wayne Gretzky and moved him to Edmonton but if I want to play with him in Play now mode I cannot assign him the number 99. I know that in Franchise and Season mode you can uncheck a setting that let you use retired number but not in Play now mode and Playoff mode which kinda suck. They should just remove this feature for normal offline play. I've created ton of legends and just want to watch them play in Play now but most of them don't have their right numbers. For example, Gretzky is wearing the number 5 which is just not right..

in nhl 12, so 7 years ago it was possible to play with legends in their original team but now no! technology in the world of video games is changing at a crazy speed! but at ea sports she seems regressed

Tbh, as much as I want the legends I would be fine with it if they just would have been clear from the start, and didn't commit false advertising like they did. But the combination of blatant false advertising and then complete silence on the matter for months despite many people are asking about it just annoys the hell out of me.
And on top of that, they continue the false advertising with the Forsberg ad, while still being completely silent of course.
However, I played with the all star teams the other day to check out the players again for the first time since september. Having spent the last 3 months creating almost 300 legends/classic players myself I could honestly say that 90% of the official legends are just a rush job, atleast appearance wise. They have face scans for a few but the vast majority have generic faces and doesn't really look very accurate. I've made most of them look way more accurate than EA did, using the same collection of generic faces/hairstyles and equipment. And that is on those all star teams so I would imagine basically all the other players only available in HUT are also generic looking. Goalies gear are also completely off and I would also say that several players attributes are very questionable from what I've read. Still, I would've love to have those legends with face scans in my custom roster and I love the player pictures as well.
Next year EA, contact me and I will give all the legends as accurate as possible appearances, for free.

Guys like Mats Sundin, Bryan Trottier and Al MacInnis are for example generic crap. Amazing. They even had Sundin's real face back when he played.

You bring it to the point ! What helps me legends, when most don’t look like them. Give us face import from your face scan website to the players and we will do the job ..... sorry forgot .... we could load up player pics too. It’s not a big thing to upload photos if you give it to us. ;-) Do we need something else for our Rosters ? No we don’t cause Roster sharing you will never give to us.

I want to play with legends in franchise and season!!! Fix it, otherwise I will never buy a NHL game from ea Sports!!!
