Did you buy the game SPECIFICALLY for the use of legends? If no then you were not scammed. Furthermore as a community we should be banding together and pushing the biggest issues, such as play and feel. It's funny because I haven't bought an NHL since 15, and I love this game. Funny how people wanna talk about being scammed but as long as they get their legend roster they're fine playing a 80$ game that feels like garbage. The latter is where I feel scammed but to each their own

For what they ask you to pay for this game ($60-$100), which also has microtransactions, I would hope they listen to the community is some capacity. The whole Battlefront "pay to win" debacle was amazing, because EA feels like the company that likes to do the least amount of work, then ask you to pay the most for their game and then some.

Can't say that you don't bring up a few good points in all of your posts on this thread, because you do. However, you seem to feel it's a bit on the ridiculous side that people are upset about the legends not being available in offline modes. Okay, I have no problem with how you see it because you have a right to your opinion. What I do have a problem with is, whether a thread is negative or not, EA has had multiple opportunities to come out and just say "no, they won't be available in offline modes." Heck, they could start their own thread and possibly disable comments to keep the negativity out of it...just make it a plain statement. Instead, the only response we've gotten is "There is an issue with their ages and we're working on it." Can you honestly say that this quote right here does not imply that EA is working on putting them into the offline modes? Why don't they just say they're never going to be available? The worst thing EA can do regarding the legends issue is to keep speculation alive that the legends will be available at some point. Not a good business practice when paying customers are stating that they feel misled (whether you agree they have been misled or not) and the issue at hand is not resolved by the powers that be.
And judging by many of the comments regarding legends in many other threads, people did buy the game to play offline with legends. I respect your opinion on the matter but please remember that many people feel misled and the above response that I quoted gives fuel to that. EA should not leave it to us to speculate on issues...they should come out and just say yes or no. Period. Then people could still be sour but at the very least the issue itself would have some sort of closure.

Does this bother you much that people aren't satisfied with the product they bought? 2K have had the option to use legends and create what-if scenarios for years now! How is it so hard for EA to do that? After all games are a great chance to create stuff that isn't possible in real life.
Sure the game is decent with right sliders but I've played enough offline games to see that I'm not going get much new and variance to regular.
They put up polls about beta, and respond to it. Legends issue has been there Since day 1 and not one single comment about it? What a classless organization they got over there
