Hackers/GameShark users?

Has anyone noticed this in any of the online (particularly on Shootout Mode?) modes that almost everyone is boosting/hacking of some sort? Is this region-locking on the game (I just know that some games region-lock to prevent certain regions that are known for high volumes of hackers; and North America is no exception by what I have seen.); I also heard that GameSharks for PS4's were released a while back, could there be some people using those to boost their points? Not sure if this is in the right Category, but it was just something that I noticed that I thought was unique to my case, but I have browsed the forums and noticed that a lot of other people have this problem.

What I am seeing on my end is people purposefully making their consoles lag on online play.

Which game modes are you seeing this in? We have recently set up new servers for HUT and WOC specifically so people can't lag out their opponent.

The last 3 games ive tried to play have lagged out and lost connection before they even started. If someone backs out they should automatically get a lose and we should get a win, Maybe some of us that play fair and don't spend hundreds on buying packs could gain a little ground and actually be able to move on and play in a season. This game is rediculious anyway. I love hockey but being able to buy packs and gain overall 90+ guys enough to get a team that's unstoppable is just stupid and makes this game no fun because us people that play fair and earn everything we use have no chance in hell in even catching these guys on the ice. Never will I support online hustling so you have great guys unless you earn em the hard way like alot of us try to do

This sounds like your opponents are quitting out prior to the opening faceoff. They may have recognized your team name from a previous time you played them.

Yes, and can Sony/Microsoft have a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to GameSharks?

I'm not sure if I've been missing something but I've been playing nhl 20 for quiet a while building my team up to a 93 overall with 99 players and 95,94 ect . All 3 of my team synergies are activated and sooo many more yet I just played a team ( and many more ) who had 88s skating faster then my 99 stanley cup anze kopitar.
I 1000% dont mind a good game and I've been schooled from a few teams with much less overall them me with fair play but when a normal 87 mcdavid card is out skating my whole team.. and I mean zooming past cant even stay tight to the puck at times. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue or am I just a little 👶 idk aha maybe I'm not using the R3 button properly. All that said I truly think synergies take away alot of opportunities for people like me who dont spend a ton on nhl. Some synergies have absolutely no players on the market and when they do its hella expensive to pick even an average player up.
