I live in Texas and haven't noticed a difference. I just wish the Central server was a bit more... Central.

I'm in central Texas. Haven't had any issues since the change, but it was also super rare I had any previous to that. You're probably closer to it than I am.

I haven't had any issues with it, I just haven't noticed any improvement in connection either.

just played a west coast guy on 80 ping, worst delay ever..shouldnt dedicated servers solve this problem? he was in oregon and im in ontario minimum 1 1/2 sec delay on my button, gotta say was prolly the most unfun game i have played to date..seems like every time you guys try to fix something you tend to break something else, we still have like 6 months of this game left can we plzzzzzzzzz fix it ..puck pickups are trash again connections are trash ..for god's sake plz stop breaking the game..i get it you want my grandmother to pickup the game and be good too but can we have some kind of skill gap back..you all say no ice tilt in the game then why some games do my guys play like they are out to lunch and play worse then ever or certain times in the game ill have a lead and all of a sudden my guys forget to pickup pucks or miss 5 open nets in a row he comes down presses up and scores..?????????????? bring back the skill gap plz

Okay so with these new servers there should be no lag right?
Why is it that my game completely freezes 1-3 seconds and then goes into hyper speed to catch up? This happens at the most frustrating times for me. Ie. faceoffs, defending, on the offensive rush and even in the offensive zone before setting up a high scoring chance.

I used to when I used wireless...been good since a switched to hardline a couple years ago.
As someone: who has played this franchise when the games came in a cardboard box, who has been a 4x top 100 club player, as someone who tosses $300 for HUT content because now I can't play 5 hours a day, and I've seen every incantation of what the game can be, right now your game sucks. It's the worst it's been and it's unplayable. Your servers are horrible and I have a 500 mbps connection and ping 13. But with EA, I ping 388. To put it mildly youve gotten your last nickel from me for this %$^@ . To not have the ability to provide marginally decent gameplay is a disgusting stain.
Not one comment back from EA..... that’s the troublesome part. Not one acknowledgment that this “new server” is not working the way they intended! Not one apology to the many who have only seen it get worse! The lag is unheard of.. the delay...the giant spikes that eventually drop you or your teammates! Can we get some answers? Is there plans to upgrade your infastructure and provide quality online gaming to your customers? Every other company responds and works quickly to make the customers gameplay enjoyable! Why can’t we get some kind of update or acknowledgment of these current connection problems many are having?

they should have logs, alerts, thresholds, KPI's, etc. so if there were an increase in disconnects they likely are aware of it.
rolling back out of changes isn't necessarily always the best plan, depending on the level of impact. sometimes you have to see a problem and gather enough examples in order to know what the root cause then there is "fixing" it which you don't usually do in a production environment.
that said, we've played numerous games since "new server" was rolled out and haven't seen disconnects, but have seen sluggishness.
