Ugh....P.K as a legend. Doesn’t make any sense but I’ll take it. Right hand D-man like I wanted....Don’t mind that. My OCD hates it as I have all alumni and legends on my squad and then Subban lolol
i don't think that is really a problem, there can't be that many people that run multiple accounts. if someone has that kind of time to dedicate to a game they'd already be skilled enough to win with any player card.
i do agree the Monthly Legend should NOT be tradeable but the other items we win or earn in challenges should be. if not, EA should give better rewards for those challenges.
So if/when the 99 Subban set is completed, is there any reason to keep hoarding the April Monthly cards? What happens to the Monthly set going forward? I'm guessing they disappear.
Well I guess technically last month was the last for legends since Subban isn't a legend .
I know if you read the write up for monthly legends on their website for 19 it yes says up to and including April, but someone I know read something that has me interested in next month and not wasting my extra ones yet.
When you go to the trade in set for monthly collectibles look at the front of that set it shows 4 symbols those 4 symbols represent the 4 seasons in the year, spring, fall, winter and summer. And if you look at the monthly collectibles the card represents the seasons hence APR this month is green and March was green, February, January, December were Blue, I'm going to guess September, October, November were brownish I didn't get the game until December. So next month May will be green again, then June, July, August will be red, it seems they have the seasons to represent the months so you will still be collecting monthly collectibles, but the big question is what will they be good for, different players maybe that aren't legends....

that'd be cool.
the fall were orange if i remember correctly.
the only other NHL game i've had was 18 and i think they ran challenges and new player cards through the draft so i could see there being another monthly "Legend" or 2 and would guess it would be the Conn Smythe winner and the top prospect in the draft. i've been poking around HUT in NHL 18 the last few weeks and Rasmus Dahlin had a special card for the draft.
i also think they ran the flaskback and flashforward challenges through the summer.

Okay orange would make sense for fall cool, yeah just not sold yet on the idea that monthly cards will be useless after this month, they'll still be used to complete the sets to get the free packs, just what will the last box be, will be the question. No idea on previous years didn't get the Xbox One until December hence getting NHL at that time, but good to know they kept doing stuff to it after the season was over last year, as that's what I'd expect with this one as well. Unfortunately EA and their write up page on their website for this game is very vague in monthly collectibles and after April what they're good for, but doesn't surprise me with EA they enjoy having their costumers play the guessing game with their products.
