Missing jersey numbers after removing from player *Possible Bug*

Hi guys,

Has anyone else had an issue with disappearing jersey numbers once they are removed from players?

I recently picked up an Artemi Panarin TOTY to replace my Panarin EVO, I had #72 his Chicago number on my EVO card and removed it so I can auction off that card and planned on assigning it to my TOTY card. For some reason the number disappeared from my customization folder and is nowhere to be found?? This has also happened with my 93 Owen Nolan card, I had assigned him #97 and removed it to auction him off. So all in all I am missing 3 jersey numbers in total #72, #97 and #91 from players that I have auctioned off. I called EA support and was told to post this here on the forums to see if other players have shared the same experience as I have?

Thanks Guys,

You use it once it's done. Why would you think you can use it again? It is listed under CONSUMABLES.
  • So you can only use a jersey number once is what your saying? Show me that in writing , post a link.

This is not what I was told by EA support, why would they have me create a post for this if what you say was true? and for the record jersey numbers are listed under CUSTOMIZATION folder and not CONSUMABLES!

Tbh I've always thought I could use them only once. And same goes to captaincy.

Btw is there in menus an option to restore original jersey number or remove customized number/captaincy?
If there's not, I think it "proves" they are meant to be used only once.

EA support are mostly useless, they had you create a post because they didn't know any better. They don't all play the games they support, which is a joke in and of it's self. They are actually listed under consumables when you go to apply them, for the record.

  • You can remove custom jersey number from player when you select him in your lineup. It will return the player to its original jersey number

  • Hey everyone,

As several have mentioned in this thread already, Customization Items are a one-time use. If you apply one to a player and then remove it, it's gone. This is how the item is designed. Just wanted to clarify this.

    Thank you.

It is also very clearly notified in the game: when you select "Remove custom jersey number/assigned captaincy", an info text pops up saying: "Remove customization? Removing this item will permanently remove the selected customization item type applied to this player"... :D

wrong, this only applies when I remove an object, but not when replacing an object. These are 2 different things. And it should also be pointed out correctly, which is not.
The problem is also identical with the goalkeeper masks ..
EA Sports produces errors and wants to cheer the user, typically

I apologize for the inconvenience, but as I mentioned earlier, all Customization Items are a one-time use. This is how those items are designed.

then EA should change it. EA writes it incomprehensible and different, with the result that in both cases, the objects are removed remotely.
See video what I have posted here

Don't you really mean it was designed this way so EA can sell more customization packs along with the rest of your over priced packs! Just tell the truth man and dont insult our intelligence.
