Icing Issue

Anyone else coming across plays that should be icings not being called, but ones that shouldn’t be icings are getting called (opponent passed puck in offensive zone to the point, goes down to his own end yet called for icing)?

Doesn’t happen all the time, it’s random, but odd to see this year after never seeing this before.

On top of icings that should be waved off when the puck could have been played, why are intentional offsides faceoffs not in the proper location?

If a player is receiving the puck, but is bumped or hit before receiving the puck it will usually not cause an icing as it was due to the defending player. This is only works as intended sometimes though.

The ones that are questionable that aren’t called I can understand, but even today I didn’t realize my PK expired so I shut it down the ice. No one was near it and not an icing.
