Is there anyone in particular you all want to see added for special guest commentary that we can forward along to the team for you? Can't make any promises, but we always welcome your submissions to pass along to the team when they have discussions on who to add next.

But flat No. I think the general theme here is that the dedicated fans are tired of EA spending the budget on goofy gimicks like Arctic helcopter cutscenes and one handed push-up goal celebrations instead of fixing the most obvious value-add issues that haven't been addressed for several years. The commentator isn't going to bring me back. So do something to bring me back. Oh I don't know.... maybe my defenseman shouldn't leave my Dzone for no reason when the other team is rushing my zone/net. Coaches bench 10 year olds for that.

It's in the main audio settings. Should be a guest commentary option.
Just seems sort of like a bait and switch marketing strategy. Promise all kinds of special commentators to entice buyers and then fall short of their own marketing promises.
Now I’m not saying that guest commentators is or was the only reason people bought the game. However it seems disingenuous to tell the fan base to expect Gretzky, Will Ferrell and others and not deliver.
I sure hope ea is going to come through and have these guys contribute to the game otherwise it’s not a good look for ea to their community.

But they state that no one was confirmed...“The infographic EA showed us included portraits of hockey personalities like Don Cherry and Wayne Gretzky as well as celebrities like Chance the Rapper and Drake, though none of these entertainers are confirmed to be in the game at this point”.
Kevin Bieksa gets my vote if we have to have guest commentary but I'd prefer the team fixed parts of the game instead.
Is NHL rated T or E? I can't remember. There's a line of Snoop's dialogue that always comes up, and it sounds like he's saying "now that's how you use your stick, [shorthand N word]" Fairly certain he doesn't say ya dig, dig, man, mang, or anything else and it just seems out of place when you consider how awkward it is after he mentions liking the Leaf's jersey because it has a leaf
