Covid -19 Pandemic
I find it rediculous how EA had decided to release HUT primetime and team of the week cards when the NHL season has been on pause and might even be cancelled due to this covid-19 pandemic. It is utterly disgusting from their part to be doing this in order to try to dig in to their customers pockets during these difficult times that nations around the world are dealing with both emotionally and financially. It just goes to show how sympathetic this company really is. What they should be doing is compensating people freely in these desperate times. Very dissapointing especially coming from a canadian origin.

To be fair, im sure this was mapped out long before this all happened, however i do think it would be nice if they did a little something like extra events to earn free stuff or something. I dont feel were OWED anything though.
It’s a business model to begin with. New cards are offered to and not forced on you.
You don’t have to buy any and still play the game.
Would it be much better if EA shutdown their studios and give you NO online access to play?
They are still there running this for our entertainment.
I find it strange to be selling 50 dollar packs when most people are worried about paying Bill's... that's just me
I have to agree. Low class imo.
If your worried about paying the bills then don’t buy packs, it’s not ea’s fault if you can’t control your spending.

"You missed the point"
I'd love to have new weekly challenges and events but understand and accept the current situation. I doubt anyone is complaining about the amount of Squad Battles games available now.
Thanks and hope everything is well from your end as well. The Madden NFL and Sims teams have been giving away game codes over Twitter. I haven't heard of anything for NHL 20 but keep an eye out on all official EA channels for the latest news and promotions.
Question: How are you guys determining who gets a Prime Time or Team of the Week card with no leagues actually playing? I'm asking more from curiousity than concern.
They’re being chosen based off the simulated games and community requests. For the sim games, players are chosen from the winning side.
