Why does my Created Players show up in Active Rosters but can't get them on My Season Roster??

I've created a few players in The Create Player Mode and assigned them to My team that I'm playing a season with, when I go into my Active Roster there are on my roster but when I go into season mode their not there

If you are in an active season and create players while in a season you can’t apply to that team. It basically can’t override the files. You can only put created players on a roster for a team that is not currently in use within season mode.

So I have to put the created players on the team I choose before I start the season???
