nhl 21 free trial and full game installed glitch

so after i named my team and choose abrevies in hut, i hit the i open pack button and its all in black window. i can't do anything except skip. i have to close the game cause i'm frreeze there. i restarted the game and my cards are in the items. i did open my free pack from ea play and same again background window and i can't see my cards. btw why i didn't received my loyalty pack when i saw nhl 21 youtubers receiving them?

    it took me 8 hours to install, i'm sure there is another way to solve this. but thx for the info

    No, it's saved on the server. Only way to lose them is if you delete your HUT team.
  • I confirm that it works, I reinstalled the game overnight and this morning no problem in hUT

    I am having the same issue I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the glitch didn't go away. Whenever I would try to open a pack the only thing I would be able to do would be to skip animation. It would then leave me with a black screen. I then have to close the game and go back into it where all of the pack content sits in my item inbox. I have an issue where I cant see some of the home screen content. The recommended thing to do was to uninstall and reinstall or to restore licenses but neither of those worked. Anyone have any ideas?

    I had this issue. Apparently, you have to allow the game to completely install without opening it when the game says it is ready partway through installation. Worked for me. It's a pain, though.

    So I put my team name in again in Ultimate Team, it says already taken. Even though it is already taken by my account. I even tried a different name and it didn't work, just gave me an Error.

    I've restarted a million times.
    Uninstalled.
    Rebuilt data base.
    Redid the license.

    I know some of you are having trouble opening your cards,but I can't even get to that point.

  • there is few picks in this thread... i suggest to uninstall the game and reinstall it with standard edition. make sure to not open until you have the full version downloaded. the problem seems to be if trying opening the game if its not all downloaded
  • I’ve done it five times still doesn’t work and no one seems to care
  • I encounter the same issue. I hope there's nothing being held back because it is though to be Trial build.

    We definitely care. This is something we're trying to get resolved as soon as possible. Something else to try is making sure you completely remove anything NHL 21 related. Then, install the game by going to your console's online store through a web browser. Start the download for your version there. Not the trial. Let it completely download and install. Then, check for the update. Make sure it gets installed. Once both are 100% complete, launch the game and see if it works.
  • Assuming this also includes the cloud items etc saved?

    I would try without deleting cloud saves first. You won't lose any HUT content either way though.

    I did try without deleting. I not created any offline content yet so not worried about losing franchise/BAP stuff.

    I have deleted data this time and re-installing, my internet is quick it's under 5 mins to do for me.

    I did the delete of saves and game. Popup persists. Assuming it's server side, and will be something cleared up likely by Official launch day. I'll just hit X and ignore until it causes me any issues.
