Just hoping to get an answer as to why we cannot play a full season in the CHL, AHL or Euro league. I find BAP boring and too repetitive without these features. Many of us want to have an idea why, because it was an important feature in this mode. Grinding to get top 1 pick and being selected by just the NY Rangers....without this it takes the fun away... @EA_Blueberry @EA_Aljo

As someone who both collects trophies and doesn't care for offline, it was nice not being forced to play a full season before the draft. The rest of Be A Pro is an absolute mess with constant unskippable conversations and having your settings constantly reset so hopefully there is a patch coming soon.
For many years we could always select NHL if we didn't want to play a full season. Though for my preference I usually love playing full junior seasons, especially so I could get drafted by a different team instead of currently the damn Rangers lol.
Unless the team is able to hire a bunch more people, working on one thing will always take resources from the other - by having so much bloatware (imo), it's doing a disservice.
Rangers didn't want me because I said I like to call my parents lol - Whatever, have fun watching the Kings win 10 cups in a row
They took all the fun and sense of accomplishment out of the game, to make it so that you’re a winner no matter what
Hit the nail on the head. All the last 3-4 games I enjoyed playing through the CHL, and getting up to the NHL over weeks of play. It felt rewarding, and playing on the hardest difficulty with all sliders through the roof made it as hard as possible. And that also made it feel all that much more rewarding and challenging. I would get sent down to the AHL, and bounce back. Now that's all gone, just instantly a superstar and always the #1 draft pick. Can't play anything but a few games of CHL or AHL now, or any minor league. It's a genuine shame. But as you said they have structured BAP to have you as the star, no matter what. I don't always WANT to be the star. If I'm just some plug enforcer , why is it constantly talking about me and my hits and fights 24/7?. Meanwhile the star players on my team get no commentary time and or highlights or replays. They score 2-3 goals and get a ton of assists and I hear and see nothing. I throw 3-5 body checks and get in a fight and it's the talk of the entire game. It's tiring, and draws away from the immersion and realism they are trying to provide.
This is exactly the worst thing to do for BAP mode, be a superstar no matter what. It's arcade and childish approach to this mode. EA really doesen't appreciate real hardcore players/hockey fans who want's realism on hockey game. Players who buy and play this game year after year.. Hoping that game is finished and done in proper way.
Yeah I really don’t understand why they did it this way. I understand the superstar thing is cool.. for kids or the casual players. But the hardcore players, the serious hockey lovers, were always getting shafted when it comes to the game modes. It really sucks. I love playing these games but hate how broken they are
Still wondering if they’re ever going to address this or at least give us an answer. I’d rather them put the feature back in, since it was an awful decision to take it out, but I would also rather a flat out no, then the silence the past few weeks
I think this year I could of lived without buying the game this time, BAP was my go to mode, now I don't even play it because of that reason. I even watch a guy on youtube do the worst he possibly can in the 8 games you get before getting drafted and he still went 160th overall and played in the nhl roster first year. Tell me that makes sense lol, its like there giving you a participation medal , no losers, and it literally makes no sense. I think this year is the worst I seen for nhl, and it sucks because this is the only hockey game out there for all us hockey guys! I really hope they worry more about fixing the game nest year instead of adding in or recreating other modes, they make the game more and more broken every year, It had to stop.
I just want to leave my feedback on “Be A Pro” mode of NHL21:
1. I’m little bit disappointed cause it’s impossible to play in CHL (Canadian Hockey League) or in Europe full season only Champions Hockey League or Memorial Cup which is really fast way to play only in NY or LA.
2. What about implementation of the Game Face technology from EA into the game? (like it’s made for UFC)
All years there is deception in this game, who is the PDG of NHL EA ? a snake?
They withdraw them for comeback in others NHL game later and "say LOOK ALL NEWS WE ADDING IN THE GAME" its just marketing!
They take the fun, realistic stuff out and put in boring, bland arcadey things that are broken and pathetic.
What a waste of $80
I was so dissapointed at how shallow and surface layer all the BAP changes were. Not only do all the interactions, questions and such repeat after a mere couple of games ALL of the voice recorded lines and special things and such are dedicated ONLY to your rookie season. Once your rookie season is over they treat you like AI, and it's hilarious. Also what is the deal with injuries?, can your player not be injured anymore?. I will get severe injuries and just come back into the game. It used to be way more advanced and depending on severity you would have to not only stay out for that game, but for even weeks/months worth of games. And there was little immersive screens of you in the Trainer's room talking about your injury, and giving you more information on it and recovery time. Is that removed altogether or do they just make you have god mode for rookie year?. ****?.
