Has the new patch increased CPU scoring?
Ever since the new patch was released a few days ago, I get scored on in SB twice as much before
My goalie is the same
So what’s the deal?
Is it just me or has the patch increase DDA?
Oh wait, I mean ‘Momentum’

The patch has broken Squad Battles
DDA/Momentum no longer randomly occurs in the first or last minute of games, it occurs in EVERY GAME ALL GAME LONG
I’ve played roughly 40 SB games since the patch and it’s more noticeable than ever
Minimizing CC passes is one thing but to actually make the CPU intercept and deflect any type of pass that has no business being intercepted is a huge oversight by this dev team.
SB is broken. And the the OP pass interceptions affect other game modes like Hut challenges and Rush too
These changes have lead to me not playing this game as much as I used to
Which is disappointing because I played this game since the sega days
Can you get some video of passes that shouldn't be intercepted? In most cases, if a pass is being intercepted it means that's not an open lane so forcing a pass is most likely going to result in an interception.
We (the paying customer) already did our ‘job’ by purchasing the game
Now it’s time to do YOUR job and start bringing up these issues with the NHL 21 team
It happens so often that it should have been caught by your dev/qa team BEFORE the patch was released
But it’s clear this is not a normal process your team incorporates
We never assume someone is not going to provide video. We actually get a lot of them so we tend to assume we're going to actually get video when requested. This isn't about making the customer base do QA. We want to know what you're having issues with so it can be investigated. The issues being brought up here are not obvious. There are many times someone has provided video claiming a slower player is faster. Those videos normally show the carrier was dekeing or turning. These slow them down. There also is a small speed penalty when carrying the puck. Fatigue is also an issue. There are times when we get a video showing a defender skating at an angle that closes the gap faster. They have a shorter distance to cover in this case so it's going to be easier to catch them. To test if a higher speed player is faster than a slower one, both players need to skate in a straight line from start to finish. Yes, it's not something that happens often in hockey. There are normally various conditions, like the ones I mentioned, that cause players not to hit their top speed.
