All you need to know if the classic left right left shoot and cross-crease into a one-timer. There, I saved you 10 minutes and they can't get some easy ad rev.

In all seriousness though, just learn to conserve energy for straightaways and impede the body, not the stick... I appreciate the videos giving tips and tricks but 90% of the player base doesn't need to do very much to outskate and outscore.
I've literally seen 1 person attempt a self-chip once and nobody has time for between the legs and other unnecessary moves unless they are already blowing you out and wanna rub salt
  • My never ending tips should be not to hustle too much, when you do, use it with a 'click'.

Try not to be to straight in your skating, no mather if it's left right up or down, avoid being too straight in your direaction.

Try to transfer between going backwards to going forward, choose wide angles, smooth touch of both L2 and LS.

In 1vs1 don't switch between players, stick to as few players you can, and focus on getting the best out of that player.

The more hustle you go, the more harder it gets to skate good.

It dosent even necessary go any faster just beacuse you hustle all the time, you loose alot of speed by not attacking the angles right.

    1) Head into a free skate with 'Auto Backskate' off
    - I use an overhead cam, always skating up

    2) Using the center circle for a guide, position your player at 12'

    3) Practice skating around the circle while always facing up
    - This requires a combination of skating with with and without LT held

    4) One you master #3, now start doing it with an active DSS
    - While doing your circles, have a mate call out a clock facing( like 3 o'clock) and use your DSS to match that facing for an entire lap

    That was creative.

And don't forget to practice backskate too. I experience people to be much worst on backskate.

This is in the film room, I supposed I should make videos, but here's another one...

This one is designed around training your DSS.

    - Use a face-off dot for a marker and skate past it from various angles
    - As you are skating past the dot, make it your mission to pass the blade of your stick through the dot using your DSS
    - The idea here is to get comfortable with the arc your blade is on when using your DSS which should in turn help you get better at using it to hit a puck

More of a skating with DSS tip I guess.
