No True Playoffs in EASHL?

Can anyone confirm if a true, win or go home actual playoff is coming back to EASHL? The Chel Deep Dive made zero mention of playoffs. They just mentioned changing the ice color lol. And if we're stuck with the pointless Club Finals can we skip it so we can just play those same meaningless regular games in our own rink? The vast majority of Club players asked for a return of some sort of real playoff.

So there is a playoff now?
There were playoffs in 21. They're just shorter in 22.
I guess we'll have to respectfully agree to disagree. Club Finals is more of a leaderboard rat race of who can play the most games than any resemblance of a playoff. There isn't a hockey league on the planet that uses a club final format for any sort of playoff because it isn't one. A playoff requires a win or go home, elimination, last team standing format. Club Finals is just more regular games in a rink no one wants. And you can't skip it and just continue to play games in your own rink. Previous editions of the game had actual playoffs, win or go home, eliminating opponents and if that wasn't your thing you could skip them as well if you liked. NHL 14 nailed it with the weekly hustle of real playoffs to give the gamer an actual playoff immersion experience. They should have built off of that, like as you upgrade your rink it gets louder for home playoff games, rally towels, eliminate other teams, etc. Again, nothing personal just my opinion, and from many other people on forums and posts online, Club Finals is nothing like a playoff.
Apologies for the confusion. I was just letting you know that the playoffs were mentioned in the deep dive video, but you're right that it's not a traditional playoff format. If that changes, we'll make an announcement.
