I asked this question a few years ago. It's there, but you have to turn of the broadcast because it is so faint, you can barely hear it. If you listen real closely after you hear the drum audio, you will pick it up. It sounds like it's coming from the parking garage, but it's there.... I'm assuming it's because we haven't…

Unfortunately, I agree with both of you. The players are a big reason for this issue, but EA is just as much at fault as well. The success rate is much higher than any other type of goal in this game. So can you really blame the players for attempting these shots with every opportunity they can get? The fact that I am…

Rather than go back and forth in the other thread you posted, I'll just respond here. I disagree completely with the minimum of 4 players in club. I'm not sure what you have against clubs with 2 or 3 players, but I would be fine if EA just forced an automatic "match your player" size. That way, clubs with 4+ players aren't…

When I was playing, I played only 2's or 3's in club 6's. I only play with my brother and a good friend of ours. We gave 3's a try, but we found it to be too arcadish and became uninterested really quickly. Since we only play 3-4 games a week, it's not worth trying to establish a full team. Anyways, we have 5 ways for…

I'm hoping one of the devs discusses these videos because I am really interested in what they would have to say. I lose too many games to goals that look similar to these. It really takes all of the enjoyment out of playing. Which really sucks with no hockey being played right now..

Collapsing and Protect Net is actually the "default" setup when I play with the Sabres. I don't know if that it's supposed to be, but it always seems to be that way when I begin a game. Sometimes this set up works great, but I think it's based on the strategies your opponent has set up. I've noticed if my opponent is set…

@KidShowtime1867 Your very first replay is exactly what I have been complaining about. The AI just stands their looking dumbfounded. I've been trying to say for weeks that something is just not right. I have probably witnessed this in every single game I have played...hence why I need to walk away. I wish a patch could fix…

I didn't mean to say "unfortunate bounces" are being programmed. I was referring to sticks phasing through players based on the reasons that you have mentioned. I'm frustrated that we are told that sticks should not be phasing through the puck, but then when I provide evidence showing that it is occurring, I am told that…

@EA_Aljo There is a difference between an "unfortunate bounce" and something that is programmed into the game though. The fact that I have to just accept that this is ok just doesn't sit well with me. I get that this is a video game and all, but I do not enjoy winning/losing games for things that are out of my control.…

Ok, that makes sense. How about the puck phasing issue? Edit: Nevermind, I think you just answered it in another post. So in this situation, because there is a brief period for the stick to phase through an object, I'm pretty much just getting an unlucky break I suppose. It is what it is, but watching these replays in…

I think I am going to go back on what I previously said. I assumed the patch helped with the one time goals, but the more games I've played, the more I am not believing that to be true. I just lost to a guy 9-3. He had a total of 12 shots, all of course one-timers. Some cross crease, some more in the slot. I say whatever…

I'm sure your defensive partner jumped on and complained about cross crease goals as well... For real though, I don't play drop-ins because of this. I think if we saw the grading system emphasized more like previous games, we would see players in position more often...I would hope...I mean, if I saw a "D" in my Team Play…

I think the patch definitely helped mitigate the cross crease goals. AI defense has been doing a better job at breaking them up from my experiences so far. As far as the stick goes, I agree with the "little consequences". I posted a video trying to get an explanation with the DSS. I can't figure out when it is solid vs…

I wish it were that easy to say that it were the counters. I believe it has something to do with the peer to peer connection. I play center primarily in club and I have a career average of about 75%. The combination of the sabres low faceoff ratings and the peer to peer connection is most likely causing the issues.
-
Really? This goal is a big reason why I made a post about faceoffs the other week. I actually see them occur quite frequently in my games (prior to patch)...mostly against me haha. I lose games having higher TOA, shots, passing %, etc., but my faceoff % is a mere 15%. So if I lose the faceoff in the defensive zone, my…

Just to add to what I was mentioning earlier... We have noticed in our club games that this has been being called a "trip" multiple times. I don't know if this is supposed to be some other type of penalty or if it's some type of glitch that is registering as a tripping penalty.

I've had this happen to me sometimes too. I think the puck is getting dislodged by the defender while you are trying to use the right stick to deke. Once the puck is out, you go into a hitting animation instead. My club had a weird one the other day. I put a hard check on a player with the puck and instantly had the…

I still have every audio file saved on my PC from NHL 14. I'm sure they need a bit of updating though. Just waiting for the day EA finally decides to add this feature back into the game. I still don't understand the logic behind why it's not in, but this has probably been one of the most requested features in the last 6…

Why does the animation of the pass look so weird? If you slow down the video, it doesn't even look like the blade of the stick is pointing in the direction of the pass. Anyways, if I were the offensive player, I can guarantee the defender would have stretched armstronged to steal that pass.

Haha, I've been on these forums for years, under a few different names, and I feel all I do is complain!
