I was doing the same until a month ago, then they took good cards out of the squad battles rewards so I get nothing to sell off anymore. I'm sure when I open my Pro 1 rewards tomorrow, the highest card will be a base Barkov or Burns for the 500th time, more contracts and healing pack filler junk to add to the few thousand…

The strategy menu in this game is old and basic. Look at your Madden games on how you can create your own plays, apply the same to NHL for breakouts, offensive zone cycling, power plays, neutral zone traps. Being able to send 2 forecheckers in would help greatly.

Or when you skate into the offensive zone, your forwards skate right into the opposing team and engage in 30 second shoving matches, so much for the "There is no I in a team" concept in this game.

Yeah squad battles has been a joke since day 1, the player's AI do not play on the same level as the CPU AI. Playing on the behind the net strat is horrendous, you get the puck in deep and pass to the open guy in the slot, only to watch him look at the puck go by to your d-man on the point, who then gets shoved off…
