It's been like that for the last 10 years at least, in PP your player are dumb and in PK they are boosted. You can play highly aggressively in PK while in real life they will dump as soon as they got it. Also what about the one hand glitch in breakaway? It goes in all the time Poke check works about 60% of the time, not…

0$ as well... My team is 99 ovr because I play I lot especially challenges, I can have pretty much player I want, I just don't see the point of paying... Oh and yes I feel having better players doesn't matter much anyway.
-
The reason is if these cards were easy to get, you would just buy 1 or 2 packs instead of 5.
-
I can win just as much with an IPOTG (~ 86 ovr) than a 95 ovr line-up... so not much.
-
I learned the counters this year: Before: ~ 52 % FO won After: ~ 75 % FO won Don't tell me it's not important it changes everything and if I knew what opponent would do every time I would win over 90 %.

It's true tho that card rating doesn't mean much I can win just as much games with a mostly IPOTG line-up than a 95 overall lineup... Let me tell you my IPOTG team is much faster even if their shooting and defensive ability are worst. At the end of the day I can win with both line up but I feel more lucky with my 4 stars…

The problem is that if you don't play the trap you will allow 4-5 goals + by game against anybody that is decent.

You need a certain level of skill to do it but it's not that hard, for the reward there isn't much to complaint I am sure most top 2,000 players can do it within 5 tries. It might take 10 tries for most people tho.

If you know how to score it's not that hard... Getting PP was boring (turning in your own zone) but the SHG part was actually fun, took me 4 tries to complete the 3 challenges, it's easy to get breakaways in PK if your team is fast.

Learn to poke check and control the puck? Stats are mostly irrelevant if you suck,

Since it doesn't give much in term of prize I think nobody cares and serious player will spend their time in Season mode where the reward can be quite high.

Just login and it show my monday challenge (milestone) is already completed.
-
No but I had a pack where I could choose one of the 4 new legends...
-
The thing is I always end up between top 1,000 and 3,000 in the season mode, but if I play over 5 games it's almost certain there was a phase where I was ~8,000. In other words, to make it to top 3,000 I either play 4 games (and win them all) or over 15, there is no in between..

Having a good/fast team helps a lot, I had difficulty before december but now it's quite easy. I only hate the breakaway one especially in SuperStar and win 5 faceoffs more than the opponent... But otherwise it's not that hard, you need to be able to glitch and shoot from anywhere when needed.

It's true that puck ragging is awful this year... People who are good at it will do whatever they want. I remember a year where players were randomly losing the puck especially if tired when turning around.
-
Since I put the 96 Sittler in my line up my team is garbage, I lose twice more games in CS.
-
Well you do I actually ended in the top 3,000 but took me 10 more games to do it. But the losing streak thing isn't new for me, I don't mind losing against somebody who is good but against a guy who can't manually change his line (i.e. his first pair remains on the ice 7 minutes in a row) or doesn't know how to faceoff…

Everybody got the same team? Don't know what you are talking about never saw the Gaudreau-Stamkos-Kucherov line or the Karlsson-Lidstrom pair :D
