Since hockey gets no resources and isn't popular, it makes sense that it is half the price of FIFA and Madden? What is that, these titles all launch at the same price? Then why should I expect less from this series?

I didn't see enough gameplay to freak out yet. But, since we know the history of EA hockey, I'm cautiously pessimistic.

2k was way superior at hockey, and they were better at football, too. EA beat them with name recognition, marketing, and in one case grabbing an exclusive license. They certainly didn't win by putting out better games.

Well, it was in the beta and also NHL 17 and 18, so yes it will have VS co-op. All NHL teams are in the game.
