Hmmm... Most of the posters here have played long enough to have that building.

Hopefully a newer player can confirm.

But check the game carefully - sometimes buildings shift from a spot in the purchase list giving the impression that they are gone. And sometimes closing/opening the game or logging off and one will reset it.

I do hope it's not gone for good.

Good riddance. I did get it during Christmas but I never (well, rarely) use it. I even hid it as a part of my Nuclear Plant...

I agree that it has not turned out to be a particularly useful building, but that's almost beside the point. Assuming this is not a bug related to today's update, Mapple's disappearance seems to indicate that EA can at any time yank an item without letting us know in advance. Those postponing the purchase of a given item with the expectation that they can always pick it up later might wind up being sorely disappointed.

I wonder if that's why they pulled it. But Homer still has the "play with his mypad" task.

True, but this task never had anything to do with the mapple store... Available since day one.

It's kind of hard to get rid go Homers MyPad. It's what he was doing instead of work causing the town to depend on the likes of us.

Will this ever be available again? I didn't start playing till March so missed this and the cool brown house. Really want them both, would pay lots of donuts!!

Probably not. Cool brown house was an episode tie-in. Mapple store was a Christmas prize, can't see them doing that since the game is on android now, not just iOS like it was originally.

Without making you feel bad.... They are two of my favourite buildings

It has actually been gone for a while. The update had nothing to do with it. I saw it in other peoples Springfields last month and started looking around for it because I wanted one. I am not sure when exactly it was taken away just that it has been a while.
