Which is nice. I think every other event should be like this when it comes to friends.

I don't mind helping friends out during an event, but it can become tedious. Sometimes it's nice to just visit the bare minimum and go on your marry way

You are 100 % correct, you have no idea if anyone has visited you and if you have visited any neighbours they have no idea either, also there's no benefit for your neighbour from your visit.
