What is this Harp Freeze you speak of?
For those who don't know a lot of people are getting locked out of the game with a frozen load screen ( with harp sound )

I have not been effected and if I was I would look on all the other topics about this and find a solution
I have read all the other threads on this none of the solutions have worked for me. This is just a poll to see how many people have been hit by this glitch
Was affected by this before previous update.. Battery died whilst at the races!.. Got the harp glitch, mine has since recovered! Donut bonus went crazy! So tbh I have benefitted from this!.. Hope you guys do too..good luck

Plus it makes a change this is the only one I haven't had (hopefully... Yet)
I got hit with it today just after leveling up to the imaginary level 27. I went up but it never said 27. At the same I got el chemistri. I was into and out of the game dressing up el chemistri with parking, tables and the like. I then went to visit my frinds and got hit with the freeze. I did all the suggested fixes even trying my town on someone elses hardware. Nothing worked. I filled out a ticket with EA (https://help.ea.com/contact-us) but based on my experience with them last October when I lost my whole Springfiled I do not expect to hear back from them for several months if at all.
Is anyone getting Harp Freeze at lower levels than 26/27?
I agree where is the not affected option. All choices are only for people involved with harp of death or those at level 26. To get an accurate poll you must include everyone. Of course I have been down since Friday at 6 pm so I will take option 1 for $1000 Alex and hope I get the daily double.
I have leveled 3x past level 26 and have built both Wiggum's house & El Chemistri without freezing. When I clicked on complete for El Chemistri I got the level bonus, picked my one box of 2 donuts & carried on. Just lucky I guess?
I've had Harpes since Saturday morning and today I finally decided to try leaving the game running with autolock off. After about 15 minutes I finally got in and then got the bonus donut glitch. After some 920 free donuts the game crashed and when I went back in (worked first time) I had all the freebies! I consider it a small bonus from EA for their continual fk ups.

Instead of gaining donuts I lost over 150 of mine. My cash is gone. And Cletus's farm is no longer growing corn which was only a day away from being completed is gone as well. I was locked for two days I think.
I was finally able to play after two weeks of the annoying harp freeze!
I would frequently try to access the game only to get stuck on the loading screen with the harp noise, this weekend I went home and was too busy to bother with playing but when I finally had a moment today while waiting for my drink at Starbucks I thought "what the hey, I'll give it a try" It started downloading the latest update and surprise, surprise I was able to see my town again! I got a bonus donut and it appears everything else is okay, all the donuts are still there anyway and my town looks the same from what I can remember of it.
I was effected by the harp glitch yesterday, but when I got home form work last night thought I had nothing to lose by trying all the suggestions I seen about plugging the charger in and taking the screen lock off and leaving the app running wasn't expecting it to work but lo and behold 15 minutes later I was back in and got 155 donuts with another glitch once you get back in to the game and since then I have had no problems
