New glitch - all my friends' towns are missing

Don't uninstall then reinstall now it won't let me open it ! It keeps shutting down and exiting out automatically

These constant server issues, with no explanation or apology, are getting very annoying. I still wish I could play the game on FB or on my computer - it might make things better.

All my friends disappeared today. For the last several days I have only been able to access a few towns while others would crash me and close out the game and I would have to log in again which also seems to be taking an inordinate amount of time. I would like to purchase doughnuts and add some of the fun extras to my town but will not until I feel confident that it will not just vanish with no explanation, support, or full restoration from EA! If you want us to spend real money we need real support!

There is obviously an issue with servers/origin as if you are in the game and hit the Bart/Milhouse button in the other Springfield screen you'll notice the Origin logo button has gone AWOL!

I had this issue myself and sorted by closing and re-opening the game and all my other friends and 130 bits of candy came back, however, the issue had re-occued.

EA have got yet another problem that they clearly need to fix!

Thank god I haven't shelled out any cash for donuts or I would be even my p**** d off and annoyed than I am already!!!

I am experiencing this now.... All of my friends' towns are missing. Oddly, my friends are still listed in the origin listing under that header, but the only other town to visit is the original one. Anybody else experiencing this and/or know how to fix (I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail)?

Guys, it's very possible that EA has taken down Origin to upgrade the server capabilities in order to add on the Android users. This could just be another sign that Wacking Day is almost upon us. Patience is the key to enterprise

Sometime Origin goes down on its own. It's not always a game problem. There might be alot of server strain right now.

I can only imagine with everybody expecting Whacking Day what the servers are going through at the moment.

Hopefully they get it all worked out before the big event (whatever it is lol) goes live on Thursday.

If that's the case, when you get to the start screen, what do you see? Do you see the Origin icon? Does it say Login at all? You may have just been logged out. Try closing the ap completely and restarting the game.

Yeah, that's what's weird.... I can log into and out of Origin with no issues & I can see the listing of "My Friends" (although the 'last log on' info no longer appears).

No worries. Since this seems to be occuring more frequently (I haven't logged in yet) it's possibly the servers are getting updated to support the Android users. Just a thought, but could be another clue to Wacking Day for this Thursday

Bumping this one last time.... Has anyone experienced this and ultimately found a solution. I have a great town and would love to be participating in the Whacking Day stuff, but I can't visit my 70 friends' towns.
