Creatively "Tapped Out"???

I have hit a wall of late myself. I had some great ideas and they came together nicely. Now the last few buildings I have added I can't seem to arrange or decorate in a fashion that pleases me.
What helps is to keep at it. Just be patient and if you don't like something you have done do it over until you are. It can get tedious but when you finally arrange something and find yourself admiring your own work it is worth it. Also take a break now and again. I find if I try and do too much I end up just having to redo everything. Stick to small areas and get them perfect before you move on.
Eg I just bought the volcano lair. I have enough donuts for the brewery as well and I intend on getting it ASAP. My issue is I have yet to arrange my volcano lair in a way that has me loving it. When I love what I have done with it ill get the brewery and start on it.

That sounds like good adwise to me
Instead I spend my time visiting neighbors towns and looking at the pictures people post, and wandering around my real life town looking at landscapes in hopes of finding new ideas.
In terms of inspiration there are a few threads on here called "what have you done...." If you search those you might find some inspiration there
