Origin and friend requests

I have seen many times answers to this situation.....

I get a request to add someone and Origin says...oops, error.

The answer so far here has been that those sending the request probably already have one hundred friends and can't add more.

Or that those being asked to add already have one hundred friends.

I have only eighty-two friends and cannot accept.

Even just now when someone who is looking to be added sent a request, I got the oops.

Anyone have any real success solving this issue with Origin?
