Which premium items are the best?

Was looking for advice, I'm level 26 and I've got 40 donuts (through golden scratchers) and the only substantial premium item I've bought is the Tire Fire, was wondering what people think I should be saving up for as probably will be buying more golden scratchers! My indolence is my lowest rated. Thanks!

You can't get any new characters with 40 donuts, so I'd go with something that ups your payouts.

So would be buying something like the News Van be better than waiting until I have enough for something like the Aztec Theatre?

I would wait on the theater..its one of the few premiums I have and u can send people there (for more $ than regular tasks) and it looks cool when it is on =)

Well....If you are saving, then definitely save for something better. A character or building would always be a nicer choice.

I thought you wanted to spend just the 40 you have.

Yeah sorry, I should of been clearer, it was more that I'm saving up for something and was wondering what the best "something" would be.

Hank Scorpio has some of the best animations but he has no voice. Moleman doesn't have very many outside jobs. Dr. Nick is always fun.

Premium characters are the best items because the more characters you have, the more money you earn. Dr. Nick is great with a lot of different timed tasks. Moleman, SVT, Bumblebee Man are okay, but only if you are above level 20. If you are low level, they will only have a few jobs.

Frink, Otto, Barney, and Mel are probably the best building w/ character. They all have a lot of tasks and have iconic buildings from The Simpsons. Duffman is okay, but most of his jobs are exactly the same just in front of a different building. Scorpio is good, but is not voiced. His jobs are pretty good though.

any building that has a character attached to it. Frinks lab or Volcano hide out. You can actually get the Frinks lab in a Homer budda, if you want to chance it. More likely you will get a white fence though... You can also get Squeaky voice teen and Mole man through the budda, but again. You may just get a green dumpster..

If saving for something good, go for Moleman. 60 donuts, and does not require premium buildings like SVT does.

Homer Buddha is a wast of donuts. You are more likely to get a dumpster or picket fence than a building or character.

And Barney I a blatant rip off. Most expensive premium character and doesn't have premium income.

SVT does not require premium buildings. Sweep hair. Advertise burgers. Valet at guilded truffle. Non premium buildings.

One of his shorter, an more useful, tasks is at the Aztec.

I was actually considering a Homer Buddha just for the chance of getting Frinks Lab but the odds are something like 0.18%! Thanks for the feedback everyone!

If you really are saving, I'd vote Otto+Bus at 120 donuts. Looks cool and Otto rocks. If you can't wait that long probably Moleman although he's a bit boring.

I really like the SF sign. It's huge, looks great and can be incorporated into the town design in many ways.

Something that others haven't commented on.. but you said you are going by the scratchers. If you want more donuts for your buck I'd suggest buying a donut package. Assuming you continue with scratchers for $1 and buy 20, you'd have minimum 120 donuts with max 2000 (not likely at all). In the end you will have about 250 donuts, which with $20 you could get 300. Obviously the bigger the donut package, the better deal you get, but I as well as others understand it's hard to drop more than $20 at once.

But on topic, the suggestions given are pretty good. Frink is worth it along with SVT and Dr. Nick. Hank is good too, just not voiced. I actually like Duffman despite his "Apu" task list (doing the same thing just slightly different). Characters are best, and those that come with buildings are even better. Standalone buildings are okay, and decor/bonus items shouldn't be something you get first. I'd say:

Character with building > character > building > higher bonus % > misc decor (smallest bonus %). When "limited" edition items are offered those are also preferred over my above list (well concerning characters with/without buildings).

    One thing note:
If you missed Xmas, Barney won't be a premium character, I'd pick others over this one unless you are a huge Barney fan. Funzos/Santa's Little Helper are decorations, don't waste donuts on them.

Cheers man, you've put a lot of effort into that! Really helped my decision, I got the Christmas characters/ buildings so barney isn't a problem, I've decided to go for the school bus or the Aztec with SVT so he'll have a four hour, and I get what you mean, it does make more sense to buy the donuts in bulk but it's a lot easier to part with 69 pence than £14!! (UK) Thanks for the input everyone, lots of help!!

Duff brewery - what respectable town doesn't have a brewery? Although Duffman doesn't have great tasks (except for his 6 hour promote duff task), he has One of the best voice animations. :)

biggest bang for 60 donuts ...

    svt
    moleman
    broadcast car

i recommend svt and broadcast car, if you can get another 10 donuts. these two together have a very good value.
