is there really any reason to visit neighbors right now? with the max amount for neighbors you'd get $4848 and 606XP, I'm not sure it's worth the effort until they do another seasonal event where you collect things from neighbors.

I suppose it comes down to whether $4848 and 606XP is worth a hour of your time!

XP is higher. You also get 25 per town.

And it helps you keep two of your star ratings up.

You forgot 2525 xp. Which helps if you are trying to get bonus donuts.

I like to visit neighbor's towns especially if they are growing or make changes from time to time. I've seen some really cool things.

While there might not be monetary incentive, it's a lot easier (and faster) now that I don't have to look for hearts!!!

Plus I'm trying to get as much XP as I can to get the level up bonuses.

I don't mind visiting my friends at all, especially when your at the lower levels where the extra cash and XP is welcome indeed.

I don't know if it's just me but sometimes leaving the hearts was a bit of a pain if the individual hadn't collected them. Only solution was to jump in and out and do some quick tapping to ensure hearts were left. A notification to collect your hearts so more could have been received could also have been a good addition.

"It's a social game for crying out loud". It says so. If your not visiting friends, then you're playing the game wrong!!!

Seriously though, visiting friends can be inspirational to you and your town. I spend way to much time checking out other people's SF.

I guess my neighbor list is a bit stagnant, seems like quite a few either stopped playing, play too much/have too many neighbors with too little buildings so the only thing to tap is the Simpsons house every 45 seconds, or people that just jam everything together without streets/thought to straight up farm without really playing. ends up being pretty boring and makes me think "why am I doing this?" a lot (not everyone on my list though).

maybe pruning will make it a bit better.

Since the cash multiplier ended, I saw visiting my friends as a waste of time since 80% of them have boring towns with little to look at. SO during something like Valentine's, it's just a matter of making a snatch and grab of hearts then promptly leaving lol.

Maybe time to purge that 80% when I can be bothered...
