Knight111 was truly kind and helpful: he unlocked my account in less than a day!
I was able to play again and had quite a few extra donuts!!

I must say this has to be the silver lining of the harp freeze...

I hope it will last and I will be able to play reliably.

@nutzaboutpool: yes, once your game has been unlocked on an iPhone 5 or an iPad 3/4, you can access it on your normal device. That's why people on this forum can help out players who have been harped out. I have been helped twice and could continue playing on my own iPad afterwards.
