    Oh my! @hobbesisreal You are a warrior! I dont know how you do it. My friend got hit yesterday and has been getting jerked around by EA for 2 days now

    At least he wont have to worry about it tommorow morning when the bix fix is released!

    Yeah me too. EA's 48 hours came and went and no fix!

    I, for one, am stunned! I just cant believe that we wete misled. They've always been kbown for their honest. That and top notch customer service.

    PS Completely unrelated, but does anyone know where the sarcasm button is?

  • Well the grace period came and went, and... Nothing. I'm officially proclaiming the CSR who said this a "liar liar, pants on fire"

  • After moving the game from storage card to internal memory didn't prevent the third glitch last week, I'm now trying something else: I'm now going to the neighbors page and back to Springfield before exiting the game without any further action, assuming that all pending activity having been syncronized might prevent corruption during the attempt of matching the server state and unsynched information on the device. I'm not too confident, but it might be worth trying.

    @marczimmer285 I have been trying that too.....but I know I forget sometimes. But I figured, even if it did nothing to help prevent the glitch, it will hopefully trigger a backup file on their server. So when I am hit next we have a bigger selection of valid backup files to roll back to.
  • They contacted me again...now they're trying to make me accept a Template Town...
    I've played this game for a couple of years now and they want me to dump everything (including Premium characters) and keep playing. Is everyone mad or something?

    I read those links and refused the Template Town.
    They tried one last rollback to before the second part of the current event and this time it worked!
    I've lost everything from that Part 2...don't even have the Castle but I don't care.

    Now the problem is....I have everything working but I'm afraid to log in the game and play and wreck it all once again!

    I'm trying what you guys are doing: getting into the Friends screen and back to force the game to sync before I log out. Let's hope that works...

    I can relate more than I care to admit.....I am always gun shy to open the game and see Gil trying to sell a deal from more than a year ago!

  • Just came to the disheartening realization that I won't be able to complete this event with the current problems. I think this is the first event it (the glitch) has affected. I could deal with playing the game broken, but it really gets to me when it affects events. More or less just venting at this point.

    Have you tried getting a rollback? Or rather, is that something you would consider, or do you fall into the lose too much progress group? Either way, it sucks and my sympathies are with you.

    It's not worth it to do the roll back. The common thread that let's me know something is going to break is the pop up for a past event. The last time I got one my insanity cauldron broke. At least it's a challenge to figure out what broke each time..lol

  • I am so upset about this!! How can EA just ignore this issue and only "fix" it on a case by case basis when someone has the time to harass them into doing so? I've played since the beginning, and quit when it happened to me a couple months ago. I miss Tapped Out. But more importantly I've spent so much money on donuts over the years I feel so f*ing ripped off!!!!!!

    I am on my third glitch in the month of Apr 2018. The first two glitch the turn around for roll back was very fast. But for the third glitch they just sent me to specialist to wait for further updates. I can only get email support. I think I am destined to play in the broken mode. The act 2 and 3 craftables of the current event were locked due to the glitch. Luckily I got the donuts to rush all act 3 craftables when the game is still working.

    Sorry to hear you are still having to wait for your 3rd rollback. :( It was definitely a wise choice for you to rush crafting in act 3.
