    I have the exact same problem since Friday when Gill showed up in my town with Duff Gardens. Since that I've had a surreal exchange of e-mails with EA Support and now I have been waiting for 2 days with no answer or update on my ticket. It says the case is open but I really don't know if they're doing something or not.
    On my first mail I explained the problem and gave the solution (pointing out this forum) to the guy in Support but he only replied with "copy/paste" texts asking for me to clear cache, uninstall the game, open the game on other devices and open friends accounts on mine etc. After I jumped all the hoops I'm now waiting for some kind of update but it's complete silence from their part. I'm afraid my case was swept under the rug or something.
    Now I can't play, this event is gone and I don't know if I'm going to be able to play the game again...

  • Try calling directly if possible, speaking in person can be more productive.....sometimes.

    The problem is I live in Europe so I can't call EA Support...
    Now I've opened a ticket asking for information on my other ticket...lol?
  • https://help.ea.com/uk/contact-us/ use this link for uk and maybe eu contact I have had 2 rollbacks and it's still broken. Waiting on level 2 support now
  • Thanks for the help Kitobi-creed but I just got my problem fixed.
    I don't know if it won't happen again but at least now I can play again!
    Many thanks to John E., the EA specialist assigned to my case. He did the rollback and everything is back to normal.
  • I have exactly the same problem. I have also EA contacted (called). They had my game gerollbackt, but it didn't work. Then have they sent the problem to specialists. Now I wait already nine days that they make a rollback, but nothing is happen. Is it normal that it takes so long ?

    No. You need to contact them again..and again until they fix your issue. Sorry that no one has helped you. Keep trying, eventually you will reach a tech that will fix your game.

  • YES! You should try again. And write down names of their "specialists" and then call again, and again until they fix your game.

    Who said you should not call again??

    An EA consultant told me that I should not call again. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the specialists, because they only said that they will forward the case (to the specialists)


  • It was one of the specialists that solved my case.

    But now Gil is back in my town with some offer!!! No way I'm clicking that guy again :wink:
  • I'm the same sadly still waiting on the specialists my mail even says don't contact them but I'm to open a new ticket again if I want an update

  • I am still waiting for their "specialists". And that since 16 days. 2 days ago I called again, and they said my case was taken out of the waiting list and they are editing it. But still nothing has happened :( .
  • The longer this goes, the more content you will lose. You need to call and get a rollback. Keep calling until someone helps you. They are not working on it, they are blowing you off. When you call, tell them your game is unplayable and you are upset at the lack of action to fix it. But BE NiCE.
    If they cannot roll it back or try to blow you off again, just say thanks, hang up and call right back. And again and again until someone helps you.
    Would you let the Bank blow you off for two weeks about an error on your bank account?

    I know I will lose my content from this time. I always called again, but they always said the same. They always said that my case is still in the queue of the specialists. They said that I had to wait longer (I also said that I was already waiting for 19 days).So I can not do anything else, because they say it over and over again when I call.

    I have the same problem, with many glitches at the same time. I tried to contact EA through email and facebook, but no answer, no fixes, no nothing. The live chat is never available. I tried everything to fix it, even asked for some hackers to try to fix it, three of them had tried but with no success.
    I'm still playing because I have hopes that once the Homerpalooza event is over, it may end up fixing the glitches for all of us. Don't ask me why I believe this, but it seems these glitches have begun for all of us after the event has started. If I'm wrong and the event ending changes nothing, then I'll probably get tired of the game soon because the glitches made it unplayable! It's boring and hard to do anything in the game as it is.
    What's the point on keep on trying if the developers give a dam* about the glitches, bugs and about the players? The game is awesome, but is this how is gonna be whenever a huge bug happens to many playes? They don't care and they won't work on it? Then why do they keep the game running and sending updates and new events if they don't care about the good working of the game for the players? I'm very disappointed.
  • Today I finally got an e-mail from EA. My problem was unfortunately not solved. After another conversation with EA, my problem was passed to the "studio". Does anyone know what the "studio" is?
  • For what it's worth, I've had this problem since the 1st of August. They tried the roll back, to no avail. After some time I had a "specialist" call and email me. They ended up getting nowhere and then sent me up the chain to some special specialist. I haven't heard back. I was also told not to contact via the same problem # since they said it will put me to the back of the queue. I'm hoping that the new update will solve the problem, but suspect it won't.
