Well, looks like I will have to live with the glitch for good then as there is no way I'm rolling back to the first time this happened to me. I would lose far too much content which would be unavailable to me if I had to start over.
I've been coping alright with it so far to be honest, just don't play as much as I used to.
I do not know if this tip was made somewhere, but there is a possibel methode (for the people the not an Rollback want to have ) to restore the tip radius. For this, you have to put the IRS building in the Heights, and build the IRS building with 3 existing Heights buildings and save them as a group. Now the IRS building should have disappeared from the Springfield and the inventory, and you can buy it again in the store. A disadvantage is that you have to upgrade the IRS again to the max level.

Tried this and the IRS building does seem to disappear from the inventory, but I can't see anywhere to buy it back. Where in the shop can I buy the building back?

Scrap that, just found it and the trick works. Resets the building to level 1 and you can level back up. Fantastic tip, thanks!
Wonder if this works with the Burns Money Pit and Lisa's Tree? I'm too scared to try haha.
Tested it same trick with the Money Pit and Redwood, didn't work. At least the Tap Radius works again though and you get both IRS building facades from Level 1 too.

If the game doesn't end, it might be possible to get them back over next few years as they do bring old items back from time to time. I lost five weeks of items in my recent rollback.

I "lost" my town in 2014 (2 years of content gone) and stopped playing for over a year (3 years total missing or lost) and since I started back up I have been able to pick up almost everything I missed or lost.
Just some food for thought, not trying to sway you one way or the other, just sharing my experience.

Amazing! For me I stopped one year as my old iPhone 3GS can no longer play unless I do a IOS upgrade but I did not have a PC then to do so

I'm missing a total of 9 characters out of 325. I thought it was less then that but I missed a few using different lists every time I counted. But Ive been fortunate to be able to get to where I am. Some are shocked that my town is only a little over 2 years old.

I finally got the Full Rollback/New Springfield Donut deal. I took the 3 months lost progress. I'm moderately content. I would never recommend an EA game to a friend or give them money but I'm no longer hoping that a Zombie Apocalypse starts at their main office.
My best advice is timing any email or phone call for 9-5 PST so that you get a response from somebody that will at a minimum understand your issue. If you get a response from an offshore site....don't even bother to try and decipher the broken English. Just resubmit the help request.
Gill just popped up again. I closed the game before anything went to crap on this event. Is this a legitimate offer from Gill or will I get locked out of this event like the last one?

How is your game after the rollback? Are you experiencing any loss of earned donuts when you synced your game?
Is it possible to get my original town back after they give me a template town without my permission?
The only way you’re going to find out is by contacting EA Help. And, I would imagine, the longer you wait, the lower your chances are of recovering your old town.

I did contact them already and they said they could not do it but I am going to call when I think I might get a good representative this morning but I was just wondering if it was possible because they told me it was not but I do not believe what they say usually.

The data for your old town, if it exists, resides on one of EA’s servers. There is no way anyone here on the forum can say with any real degree of certainty that that data is still there.

Can anyone else with a broken game confirm this?
IF so, I will put this in my guide on how to play your game while broken by this glitch

Thanks KB, I like this event and it would really sucks to get glitched on it.

That sounds wrong. They should have asked you first. It was an option between doing a rollback or getting a template town.
