I'm only at 45000 or 55000 pound land at this stage so I have miles to go but out of interest just how much does each plot cost when you're new the end? 300000? Or less/more

I'd like to know if the game is accurate to the money exchange system. Does the same tract of land in a British game cost the same as in an American game? Or did they keep the same number amounts and just add $ or £ to the end.
