I had to build 3 Kwik-E-Marts, 3 Gulp N Go's, and 3 Krusty Burgers to get my 5 stars. I've got about 35 houses and all of the other buildings too. Only thing that ever drops is righteousness.

Do your ratings go down if you don't do certain tasks e.g. for socialism if you are on 5 stars and you stop visiting friends does the rating go down?

I have 5 stars I thought it was since I bought all the premium buildings, though this is interesting I guess I did put in multiple restaurants and shops, because that's just how I wanted my town to look.

I think it sucks that we're expected to use duplicate restaurants to keep our rating up..I for one refuse to have the same restaurants littered thru my town.so I'll be a half star down till a new restaurant is added.

The rightousness star rating has been a mystery to how it's supposed to work. Many have regularly kept their Springfield tidy from graffiti (Mop) on a daily basis and visiting their friends and using the graffiti method, has still caused their righteousness to drop suddenly from 5* to 2 or 1* and rather than quickly returning back to 5 * some have experienced the low rating to remain with them for 1 or 2 days.

1: The previous test I made it had dropped suddendly from 5* to 1* and 24 hours later it suddenly went back to 5*
I visited friends and regularly mopped my buildings.

2: Last night my rightousness suddendely dropped from 5* to 1*
24 hours later after visiting friends and mopping my buildings regularly it has gradually gone up to 3.5*

There is a difference here between the two tests, No 1 a sudden rise back to 5*.
No 2 a gradual rise in returning to 5*.

From this conclusion. It's either random in returning to 5* or the second test shows the points system is beginning to work.

My theory is still a timing feature until proven otherwise.

amazing thread! thank you and great work again Simpsons00001!!!

in regards to righteousness... not sure what triggers it to drop from 5 to 1 star, but i can usually get it back to 5 stars quick by cleaning up other towns (and my town when vandalized). First i clean up three buildings, and it climbs to a star and a half, but then goes back down to one star when i re-check it. So its not until the second round of cleaning that it climbs back up to five.

    One more question about Righteousness...
Does anyone know or have tested if having Snake in or out of jail affects this rating?

The drop in righteousness seems to happen at random times but i wonder if Snake (or Tony) have anything to do with it.

I find with my town that if Snake aint in prison it drops for me :( I very rarely drop off 5stars with him banged up

My conform-o-meter was a healthy 5-stars for about a month and then an hour ago my Righteousness is at one star... don't know why this happens, clearly a glitch, right?

It's difficult to work out what pattern it's supposed to follow, there is differences to this method of righteousness from different statements of people. Yours is a classic example how it doesn't follow any pattern. In that case it must be some sort of Glitch.

Righteousness rating drop is a timed trigger. When mine drops, so does my 100 hundred friends. Takes about 15 cleans in your neighbor towns to restore to 5 stars. When it happens just be nice and vandalize, while your cleaning hunting so everyone can quickly restore their rating. Such a nuisance, but forces you to visit your neighbors, that must be why they wrote it into the code.

How can be so sure it's timed? That's not supported by the reports of at least some users.

Gluttony: (referred to as "Restaurant" in the Game Files)
Regular (90 points): Krusty Burger, Gulp N Blow, Java Server, Moe's, Gilded Truffle, Skip's Diner, Luigi's Pimento Grove, El Chemistri
Premium (10 points): Lard Lad Donuts
    Limited Time (20 points): Phineas Q. Butterfat's, O'Flanagan's Pub

--Without duplicates, there are 120 possible points available. That means you need at least 4 duplicates at level 27 to exceed the 156 points needed for 5 stars

I refuse to build multiple restaurants. Especially FOUR.

Does the swanky sushi give gluttony points? In that case, how many?

This seems to have changed... I have the 120 listed above, plus an extra Krusty Burger (+10), Swanky Fish (+10?), Asia De Cuba (+10?), so total is 150 points, but I have 5 stars again. What else is there? Legit Biz club doesn't seem likely.

I have a question for you though.

In the game if you look at all the Characters Collections, Lugash is classified as a business owner character. I would have thought that buying his gym would increase your Consumerism rating instead of Obedience rating. I could be wrong, this is just my thoughts and i mean no disrespect. I'm just curious. Iv'e been trying to figure out a way to increase my consumerism rating.
