1. Did you use any kind of jailbreak or glitch to acquire your premium items, or did you spend money on your burning bushes
2. If you DID use jailbreak or glitches, what is the point of having such a high multiplier when theoretically you had everything you ever needed anyway with the jailbreak / glitch?
*oh and also I don't think anyone is going to want to try to 'beat' your multiplier, that is basically an admission of jailbreaking or cheating :?
Did you buy donuts or did you just use negative bonus glitch?
I'm going to label this off-topic for this thread. I have been playing this game since Week One, so I've had bonus donuts, glitch donuts, paid for my donuts, free-bie donuts, tutorial donuts, trash donuts. And there are other ways I never tried like, Android, Jailbreak, Watching Commercials, Asking your parents, stealing from your parents, grifting apple, being lame.
Player's donuts have come from enough places that it is irrelevant to my thread, and only encourages trolling and reciprocally whining.
Of course you can deduct a few of the 2400 burning bushes because we all get multipliers from our towns rating, and the other few legimite things we acquire
So lets say, 2350 burning bushes for arguments sake
2350 burning bush @ 20 donuts = 47000 donuts
47,000 / 2400 (boatload of donuts) = 19.6
$100 (cost of boatload) x 19.6 = $1960 spent on burning bushes
Did I do that wrong? Either way it's a rough estimate, still a lot of money
Like I said earlier, I'm a gamer. I like to rack up achievements. I say people bragging about 400% using police cars for their 2% multiplier. So, between updates I beat them.
It was about light competition, not building toward anything
Seems redundant if you can always just add more stuff and make it higher anyway
I know it wasn't a totally serious thread, but it does seem unwise to post about this on the official forums when you didn't buy ~20 boatloads.
Is your ego so big that you had to create a post? People hack and get unlimited donuts with jailbroken devices, when you bring hacking and getting free donuts into the mix, then you asking is any1 has a higher bonus is kind of stupid dont you think? So what if some1 has a higher bonus u will just get a higher bonus than them after with unlimited donuts and so will the other person, this is a pointless topic if people are using unlimited donuts to get a higher % bonus they have no limits except the limited space the game offers.
What's funny is that I'm at level 27, and all I can do is hope that I can earn enough money (multipliers and all) to keep building funds towards the big Landmarks while still keeping up with levels AND land.
For example, I have 1.5 million bucks. But still haven't built the Adult Education Center. And I'm running VERY low on land. So I'll likely have to buy some more before I can place any of the Big Three...but then I won't have enough to buy them.

Aww, Simpsons Bane I thought you were cool. I just wanted to talk to people about video games. I'm a writer, so I try to create positive threads. Bragging is big in gaming, it's just a thing, but yeah maybe I can think of something more interesting to say. Back to the drawing board.
I get what you mean OP. Its like the sims, I played that game for months and months but when I came to the point where I had done absolutely everything it was pointless lol. That's why I liked the big purchases, took me a while to raise the money so it kept me motivated.
My advice to you is, don't cheat. It may be rewarding in the short term but when you have a multiplier such as yours it becomes pretty pointless to keep on playing. I sacrifice money for enjoyment although the game is starting to get a little mundane for me. But that's what money is for, well, after you pay your bills etc.

I didn't see you edited your post before when i posted that
Why don't you start over and try to make your town look really cool instead of trying to get the highest bonus? I mean it's good to try to get a high bonus %, but that is not the point of the game, what I like about this game is that it is the kind of game that you can't beat. There are so many possibilities! How could you get bored?
I also get what you mean OP, but if you cheat at a game you're going to max it out quickly.
Try not cheating next time, and playing the game properly.
I agree with this poster.
Sim City building is great, but the FarmVille tapping is annoying. That's why I rushed everything. I can't spend more then fifteen minutes playing this game a day. I've got things to do.
But, the time I was having the most fun was when I still had a lot more to build.
I didn't see you edited your post before when i posted that[/quote]
No prob, great advice. I edited out the bonus half because people got fixated on donuts = dollars.
From my point of view as someone in their late 20's I have always payed for games and played for free/cheap without seeing a correlation between the two. When I was a kid I played all the Marios, Mega Mans, on NES, downloaded the roms, bought the collection disc, got the hacked games on original DS R4 chip. Then bought them a third time on Wii download. It doesn't sting me to pay because we're talking about 1989, 2001, 2012. After ten years I'm not dragging out my Nester Emulator, I'm on Wii gaming with my friends when they're over.
I think people who haven't always played video games or are a different age then me wouldn't see this. Maybe they see a $100 in a game as a big investment. But, it is absurd compared to better video games. The companies know it, and they're preying on completionists. As well as appearing normal to people who have $100 as disposable income.
I think neither side of the discussion on the cost of donuts is write. They are too expensive and it is wrong to steal. For those reasons I edited those lines from my original post.

So it is jailbreak
So when you cheat you get bored, that is the rule

But thanks for posting, that's a cool thing.
1 burning bush = 20 donuts = 0.50% bonus
2400 x 0.50% = 1200% bonus
